My single experience with posting genealogical data online was a nightmare. There's absolutely no way I'd ever put it up, and I most certainly would never post any information about living people. Beware. Oh, and rgG is referring to the GEDCOM format.

How does the quality of work you produce at night compare with what you produce first thing in the morning? It really doesn't matter much what anybody else finds works better for them. I've always been a morning person, so I could do better work - and faster - in the morning than in the evening.

I've had similar problems with FF, including older versions. It'll run like a champ for a while, and then all of a sudden it "locks on" to something and just won't let go. You worry too much. I second the yogurt suggestion, although that's probably not necessary. I've eaten undercooked food many times through the years, and something else besides food poisoning is doing me in. I would have preferred the food poisoning - quicker.

Every time the subject of progressive lenses comes up, the posts are about the same: some people love them and some people hate them. What doesn't seem to be well understood is that not all progressive lenses are the same. I have progressives plus a pair just for computer use. I'd definitely go with progressives initially, because actually needing two pairs to make your way through the day is a pain in the you-know-what. A separate pair for the computer might or might not be needed, and you could decide that later. I, too, have rather severe astigmatism plus hyperopia, which is the kind of farsightedness that is ge
