I've set up the credit cards so that a set amount will be paid each month several days before the due date that would be larger than the minimum payment. The last time I ate an "Eat all you can" was probably 20 years ago. Because I would eat all I could. In those years the only time we went to one of those buffet places was when my (anorexic!) MIL wanted to go. So, we'd go, she'd eat almost nothing, the others would eat normally and I'd try mightily not to get my money's worth.

We took ours right at full retirement age for me and a year before full retirement age for my wife. We did it because we are gradually converting our IRA's to Roth IRA's and using the SS money to pay the taxes on the conversion. I have a Canon PowerShot SX40 HS that has the equivalent of a 840mm zoom. I got it for about $200 from Target when they replaced it with the next one--SX50, perhaps? It's been a great camera but I've wanted to get something smaller with an equivalent zoom. But, I just don't want to pay the $500 that it will likely cost.

He doesn't have any core beliefs (except whatever benefits him). He came out as pro-life to get the nomination. Back in 1999 he said he was, "...pro-choice in every respect." He's just reflecting the change in Republicans where most are now pro-choice to some degree. I think that a lot of politicians do exactly the same thing.
