Love, love, love this show! Oldman is perfect for Jackson Lamb. Slow Horses on Apple+ has made me discover the books, of which there are eight. All available on audible.com and read by Gerard Doyle, one of my all time favorite narrators. Lamb, as portrayed in the books, is even more crusty than Oldman plays him (if you can believe that) and makes me laugh out loud while listening, so non PC.

2012 Mac mini running 10.14. Want to upgrade to Catalina run from an external firewire drive. Reformatted external drive to APFS, it is a blank 1 TB drive. Installer won't let me proceed and tells me it can't install because it is a firewire drive. I haven't run into this before, is it just the way it is with Catalina? I'll go ahead and use USB if necessary, but just curious about what the hangup

Take a look at the Honda Pilot. Latest generation is out since 2016 when my wife bought one new. It is larger than Toyota Highlander as far as interior room. AWD and very versatile interior. Absolutely no problems over the five years since purchased. V-6 with more than adequate power and 20-24 mpg. Three row seating.

I went from first gen iPhone SE to iPhone 12 Pro Max last month. Yes, you do need a new SIM for 5G. I got an unlocked phone from the Apple store and they gave me the 5G SIM for AT&T at no additional charge. My parents owned a 1950 Desoto 4 door straight six two tone blue from 1950 to 1960. You could tell how heavy it was just riding in it. The sheet metal seemed way way thicker than any newer car I have had since that one. It was not nearly as nice as the woody, but seeing the woody certainly brings back some memories. At my house, ethernet download speeds are true gigabit (usually 930-950 mb/sec). Wifi speeds vary with chipset of individual computers but can often be 527 mb/sec. on my older MBP. I have no complaints.

Read the book "Area 51" by Annie Jacobsen for the history of the development, testing, and implementation of the plane. The original aircraft was a CIA project until the Air Force decided to take over. The book also traces development of the U-2 and many other long classified projects at the still secret base. Worth a read if you are into cold war history.
