PSA: When was the last time you cleaned your Waterpik (or other, fluid oral flosser)? - Today

Was on the verge of opening up the several-years-old Waterpik to see if I could get the electric motor back to its vibrant state. The manual suggested this is a no-no. Rather, clean the system (with tip attached) by running a full reservoir of warm water with 1-2 tablespoons of white vinegar through the system. Black Friday did not disappoint (40% off). Purchased the entire suite of Designer, Photo, and Publisher. My library gives me access to online LinkedIn courses. Will be spending some time learning how to use the new software

Yep, those are good questions. A new battery (that may or may not fit) will be about $40-50 CAN. It would be mail order, so won't be 100% sure it will fit until it arrives. (Assuming I end up ordering one.) Would I also need a new charger? Another factor is, at my age, how often will I need a drill? Actually, a second drill. Remember the Craftsman batteries with the pole that inserted into the handle of the drill? Mine will no longer charge. Would it be okay to replace this battery with a 19.2v battery? Any risk of burning out this old drill? The old battery is Nickel Cadmium. The new batteries would be Ni-Mh. Took it to the closest Best Buy/Geek Squad. Wouldn’t mount there, either. Strangely, the light didn’t come on, but the drive was spinning. He suggested I contact Seagate directly for a repair or replacement. Registered the drive on Seahate’s site. It is out of warranty. Plugged it in one last time. It mounted with (assume) all files intact. May purchase a new enclosure. Not sure. Todd

Should I bail on trying to upload podcasts from Mac Mini (OS X 12.6.3) to an iPod Classic? - 8 weeks ago

While Apple no longer supports iPod Classics, I still plan on using mine for a road trip. I was able to upload the music from the Mac Mini to the iPod. So far, I've been unable to upload any current podcasts. Before I give up and use an old MacBook Pro (acquired and kept for situations such as this), is there a way to transfer podcasts from this Mac Min to the trusty iPad Classic? thanks, T
