Wow. This is a bummer of proportions I can't explain. When I got the SMS from MacRumors I was stoked, especially since my iPhone headphones are on the way out(second pair) and I'm out of warranty. This really, really, really sucks.by microchip13 - Tips and Deals
I think I'm going to buy one. Does it come with a Sonic Screwdriver?by microchip13 - Tips and Deals
I had tomatoes yesterday, don't know where from, but it was at an upscale restaurant. Today, at the local burrito shop, they had canned tomatoes in the salsa. rgG, can you ship some tomatoes my way?by microchip13 - Tips and Deals
Nope. The bit of telecomuting I do puts a hit on my productivity. I've got a nice office and 3 monitors at work and all the computers I need to do QA and testing on. If I had the same resources at home then I still think I'd be under because I live at my house and have occasionally better things to do. And I enjoy working with the people I work with.by microchip13 - Tips and Deals
Palm M105, not even color screen. $200? Try $2.by microchip13 - Tips and Deals
I'm sorry, maybe get GrandCentral and give him that number so you can control when he calls? My CEO so far has only called me twice, sorry for yours though.by microchip13 - Tips and Deals
I predict that the loopholes that exist for the 3G iPhone aren't going to be easy to go though. My bet's on iPhone 2G's market value only going up.by microchip13 - Tips and Deals
Everything except data.by microchip13 - Tips and Deals
The only thing compelling for me would be the GPS. T-Mobile doesn't have 3G nor will they for some time, and that's if I could even get an iPhone without signing my soul over to at&t. I like the metal backing more too. More storage would be nice, but with 3G and GPS being the only improvement, I'm still not compelled to drop more money.by microchip13 - Tips and Deals
On my local Craigslist: It's rather old, but it seems to be a good price, and depending on the shutter count, I'm strongly considering it. TiA!by microchip13 - Tips and Deals
Traffic in Boulder has been a bit better. It's mostly noticeable up on the Hill though. I now will take Broadway instead of the 9th detour. As a side note, I did ride my bike to work today.by microchip13 - Tips and Deals
Your Vaio looks very nice, too bad it's a bit out of my price range.by microchip13 - Tips and Deals
As some of you may know, I invested in a subnotebook at the beginning of the year; a Sony SR33k. It's still a great notebook, and I LOVE the formfactor, but the other day I started coding for my recently purchased Arduino, and the Vaio has a difficult time running the software, in addition, it's a pain to use for internet surfing. It no longer suits my needs. I plan to sell it on Fleabayby microchip13 - Tips and Deals
Nice. My week has been a bit like that. Tuesday night I saw R.E.M. at Red Rocks; Fantastic concert. Then I worked for a day or two(fun work though). I was going to see Rush on Thursday(Also at Red Rocks) till they postponed it. Went to Elitches on Friday, and would have been at the airshow as well, but I had to take the SAT. My parents enjoyed it though.by microchip13 - Tips and Deals
Electric Cars are regretfully, the way to go. As far as rules, I'm sure they can be broken in some means. We'll get there in time.by microchip13 - Tips and Deals
I'm a bit curious. I only learned of the site today. Any chance you've got a spare invite?by microchip13 - Tips and Deals
Ah! Thanks! My family always wants to go to that when we see the planes flying around, but by then it's too late!by microchip13 - Tips and Deals
That gives you what, a $300 Mini provided you can resell the touch 100%?by microchip13 - Tips and Deals
Gravity's a field too, does it cause adverse health effects as well? Seriously, I understand there's probably some merit to this, but what can be done? You win some, you lose some.by microchip13 - Tips and Deals
Good Commercial. Add 1 to the inquiring minds list.by microchip13 - Tips and Deals
My family has had problems with everything Maytag as well. Refridgerators, Microwaves, W/D. As far as washer and dryers go, we've got some GE ones. They are noisy but get the job done well.by microchip13 - Tips and Deals
There really isn't anything. There's mplayer, but it's not exactly feature rich.by microchip13 - Tips and Deals
Hmm. Tempting. Very tempting. I'm running out of drive space.by microchip13 - Tips and Deals
Another vote for Transmission. I like it solely for the 'Torrent Folder' it allows you to have. Just copy over the torrent file and it'll automatically go to work!by microchip13 - Tips and Deals
It's funny that you bring this up. Very funny actually. I'm in the process of building my own. My requirements are a bit more lax than yours, but here are mine: Range: about 50ish miles Top Speed: Minimum, 50, but 60 would be nice. I don't think I'd feel safe going much faster. I figure I can do this for under $800 fairly feasibly. Used dirtbike with no engine: ~$100 on Craigslistby microchip13 - Tips and Deals
LEADER!!! Also, Screen Resolution owns. All the guys that I work with have 30 inch LCDs and a 20 incher. It's weird talking to them or even sitting down at their desk to take a look at their computers because the displays are so massive. I think where I work, I have the best setup by far. I have 3 19 inch LCDs, 1 8 inch LCD(hooked up to whatever local server I need console on) and oneby microchip13 - Tips and Deals
Sounds like you could just go with netbooting then.by microchip13 - Tips and Deals
