Got a iPhone 15 Pro Max - 8 days ago

I've had it for a few weeks now and here are my impressions. -Too be honest, the larger size doesn't register to me. It doesn't feel any larger than the iPhone 14 Pro it replaces. -the battery life on my iPhone 14 Pro was very good. The battery life on the 15 Pro Max is simply incredible. Winn-Dixie bought Thriftway in Cincinnati 20 years ago or so. Thriftway was a hometown chain that gave the other hometown giant, Kroger, a run for their money. I have to delete my fingerprint and start over with Touch ID - 7 months ago

About every month my fingerprint stops working with my MBP. I delete it and start over and everything works for about month. I love fingerprint ID, but it's annoying that it stops working. This time I added another fingerprint to see if I can break the routine. Anyone else have this issue?

Their Lightning sales are in the toilet. They projected to sell 150,000 this year.They have sold only a couple thousand or so this year. Might want to cut prices there as well.

Brick house, but of course there is wood trim. I think I repainted it 8 years ago. It looks ratty and at this point, I don't have the physical wherewithal to sand, get on a ladder, and then paint. Just hired someone to paint it as soon as my new gutters are installed. Waiting to see the exact color and then maybe update the paint scheme to match it.

the first place I go for unbiased news is NPR. Really, I mean it because I trust NPR to never spread misinformation or not cover a story or to report on a story for 3 years and never admit their narrative was false. I trust NPR that much, but I’m disappointed they lack the fortitude to remain on twitter and show how they truly aren’t party propagandists. It’s almost as if…nah….

For what it is worth, I've had the 14" MBP (M1Pro, 16GB, 1TB) for a year now and it is hands down a great little computer. The M1Pro is a speedy little chip and never gets hot. The 14 inch screen is a great choice for me, as I like the compact size and weight and accompanying portability. So if you can get one, it is a good choice.

I've always sneaked a couple of minutes of the Masters via the Master app at work (shh, don't tell them), but even with being on sick leave, I still prefer watching it on my phone or iPad. You can choose groups, holes, and so on, something you can't get via TV. Plus, the streaming quality, even from the days of my iPhone 3GS has always been spectacular imo. Batch changing photo format in Preview - 8 months ago

When I airdrop photos from my phone to my Mac, it changes them from .jpg to .heic, which Wordpress and other sites don't seem to recognize, thus previously forcing me to change them back to .jpg one by one. While I have batch changed the sizes of photos in Preview, I had no idea that you could do that with the format. I'm probably a day late to this gem, but it is definitely a time saver.
