I now have the install file so if someone has a place to upload it, I am willing to post it up. It might be about half an hour or so. My MacBook Pro is installing Big Sur now.

I don't know if Apple has fixed it or what I have tried has worked. Earlier I was getting the same error message. On my MacBook Pro, I made sure I was at 100% charged and plugged in. The upgrade is now downloading. JJ

I know I shouldn't have any hope, but I am still waiting for Apple to make a new 17" MacBook Pro. Until then, I am still using my MacBook Pro (17-inch, Mid 2010). RAM maxed out and SSDs installed.

We spent some time setting it up and it does work! I needed a solution right away and could not find an ST-E2 at a brick and mortar near me. I have been thinking about getting a new camera for awhile and this pushed me to do it. I might pick up an ST-E2 so I can use the flash with the XT also. Thanks again everyone!

I have a Rebel XT and my daughter wants to use it for a college class. The email she has fromt he school says the following: "You will need access to a digital SLR camera, detachable electronic flash unit, and a method for sync-firing that flash unit remotely off the camera" I was looking at several Canon flashes but I am confused about the "method for sync-firing that flash

I want to say right off the bat that I don't know why people are saying this promotion is somehow tied to the number of gift cards on hand. The Target stores are creating the cards as people trade in their iPads (this is directed by their own store trade in process) . It is not as if they have a limited number of BLANK cards on hand they have many. They load the trade-in amount to a blank gift

It seems like the hack used to unlock it was a baseband downgrade which Apple detects when you try to restore. Using the method I linked in the youtube video or any method that restores the baseband and software should get you to a point where you can then restore using iTunes. Let me know if you have any luck. If not I would be happy to have a go at it free of charge. JJ

If I am not missing anything you should be able to do a standard restore through iTunes. Since the phone was originally on AT&T is will work just fine on that network after a restore. To test this you can try it out with an AT&T pay as you go SIM or simply take the phone to an AT&T store. JJ

voodoopenguin, Dualmass clutches are expensive relative to ordinary clutches. They do reduce noise and vibration which is why many manufacturers (especially diesel car ones) are using them. I don't have a Honda diesel, but my VW Golf TDI has a dual mass clutch. Look into replacing the dual mass with a regular clutch. Doing this can save you a significant amount, but you may have increase
