I have the same ipod as you - updated w/ no issues. That being said there's nothing in ios4 that I could live without.

Don't know if this will solve your problem but to rebuild select the mailbox in the sidebar then Mailbox->Rebuild. I'm using Leopard but I believe it's the same in Tiger.

I'm assuming you mean a macbook? M-Audio's site says leopard compatible. btw I used one of these w/ a G3 Powerbook a few years ago and it worked fine.

Had this happen to a PB1400. Tried drying/cleaning for 3 days, no joy. Then 2 weeks later hit the power button and voila! Booted up just fine. So you never know.

A friend is trying to use migration assistant from a mini G4 1.25 to a G4 (Digital Audio?) 733 (don't know why). The mini won't go into firewire target mode when starting with the T key down. Does anyone have any suggestions or know if this is even possible?

Not sure but you may have to install the postscript option to print on a mac. Have him talk to the people that sold him the machine. Part # for the kit is PS-346.
