The H&R include 5 efiles for the Fed. It does include 1 state return, but no included efile for that state. Been using it for years - usually grab it when it drops below $20 at some point, usually in late Feb or early March.by ADent - Tips and Deals
Details: QuoteDue to costs associated with hardware and software used to provide the TWiT live stream 24/7 to multiple streaming providers, TWiT has made the difficult decision to end its always-on live stream. As of November 13, 2023, we will no longer stream re-runs while not doing live production. We will strive to stream on YouTube as often as possible during live production of some of ouby ADent - Tips and Deals

Good job fixing it. My Mom's furnace died on the first big cold snap on Saturday - fried motherboard. Sunday furnace tech cost $1900 to change the board - which I could get for $275 delivered (but not until Wednesday). So you may have saved a lot more than $500.by ADent - Tips and Deals
I don't use mine enough to get something nice. Had a harbor freight but in an accident I knocked it off the cart I use and it is broke the handle. I fixed it, but it rebroke. I bought a Rigid to replace it. Got a good sale online @ directtoolsoutlet - I have had good luck with their blemished items. They have a refurb for $192 at the moment, with $15 shipping. Not sure how good the refurb'sby ADent - Tips and Deals

QuoteFilliam H. Muffman Looks like Mitsubishi Mirage and the Fiat 500x are the smallest cars still sold in the US. The Mirage was recently cancelled. The 500x is basically a Jeep Renegade. Kia Soul, Hyundai Venue, and Nissan Kicks are all small and still available. The Bolt got cut, and the Kona grows up for the next model.by ADent - Tips and Deals

I used Migration Assistant and it kept getting stuck using Ethernet. Putting the drive in an external case (or cloning the drive to an external) and attaching to the new computer actually completed and was WAY faster.by ADent - Tips and Deals
For B&W laser printers rule. Mine is a HP 5M - introduced in 1996. The wife has a multi-function Brother - both networked. For color - lasers are OK, but inkjet looks better. Getting photos printed some where else look good too.by ADent - Tips and Deals
We got a lot of over the air channels. A couple are commercial free and can be left running - NHK is my favorite. Get the AppleTV hooked up.by ADent - Tips and Deals
5 of the 6 closest BK's have closed over the last 15 years. The last one closes at 8pm. Or 6pm sometimes (and this was pre-pandemic). It's probably not the locations as one is now a Freddy's and the other is an In-N-Out. Most of the locations just seem to have given up and look like they were last updated in 2005. There are a few locations around town that seem to care.by ADent - Tips and Deals
I want to look at Keepass. Aah I see Strongbox is a KeePass client. And Bitwarden. I am not super happy with Apple since they have to keep your ios passcode/mac password on file for iCloud and other features to work - so they (and government and maybe someday hackers) have access to just about anything. Oh and anybody that can get my passcode on any device can take over your apple accountby ADent - Tips and Deals

I was looking for hotels for 2024 and it looks to be too late. All I saw was $900-$1500 a night. The 2017 one was crazy. 3 millions folks in Wyoming - a state with less than 1 million residents. Took my kids friends 13 hours to get home from a normal 3.5 hour drive.by ADent - Tips and Deals
SMS is trash for real security - easy to highjack your phone number. If it is something you really care about (banks, money, crypto) use the app. If is your newpaper login think whatever. Have been using VIP Access for about 10 years - though seems like most are migrating to something else.by ADent - Tips and Deals
My old company charged an extra $100 if the spouse had coverage available and didn't take it.by ADent - Tips and Deals
DVI and HDMI are basically the same electrically (no sound on DVI). DisplayPort is a different signal type. Some video cards support both and can output DP on HDMI and ship with a simple passive adapter. You need an 'active' adapter. Take a look at . I like the since I have used a couple of other Cable Matters adapters - though the others are probably OK.by ADent - Tips and Deals
Need to keep domain hosting seperate. If you web/email host bites you can you always switch to somewhere else. Also keep that domain secure and hopefully not using a GMAIL or such address that can go away at a moments notice.by ADent - Tips and Deals
It's pretty common. The financing isn't always complete. Esp common on weekend sales and sub-prime where the finance guy has to shop the loan around. In my state there is even a set daily fee and mileage fee you need to reimburse the dealer for if you return the car. My MIL (with bad credit) bought a used car for 12% interest. They called back a couple of days later and said the best they cby ADent - Tips and Deals

1) Spinrite is DOS and will run on anything that can boot DOS or I guess run it in VM or something. I have an OLD PC with IDE and SATA connectors to run it. Intel Macs up to about 2013 can boot DOS - see - but then you have to figure out how to get the drive attached to the Mac. 2) If you are just looking to pull as much data as you can you can use ddrescue from the command line (or a liby ADent - Tips and Deals
I think I would really like the 48mm focal length of the 2x 'lens' on the iPhone 14 Pro (or Pro Max). The wide angle 1x lens on my iPhone 11 is so annoying at times and rarely use the 0.5x lens. 3x may be good, but I grew up with a 50mm on my camera and my phone doesn't have that. Other than that any modern phone would be fine. You can hit Apple genuine refurbs store.by ADent - Tips and Deals
Are they paying it on the 4th or just withdrawing it from your account on the 4th? Some banks in the past used to write a collective check for some payers. Others see it as a profit center to hold onto the money for a few days. My bank (US Bank) has actually been good at getting the money on the day specified to the payee and the withdrawal date matching.by ADent - Tips and Deals
Any info on where Zelle was compromised? The big problem with Zelle is it is mostly irreversible.Think of it as more of a cashier's check then a credit card. If you paid for a used iPad and it turns out to be a box of rocks you can whine to Paypal and probably get it reversed - but Zelle not so much. On the other hand if you sell a perfectly good iPad via Paypal and the guy then says itby ADent - Tips and Deals
