and today everything worked. Was able to log in, get her Apple ID password, install programs, everything. EDIT* and her password worked, same one, no problem. Ran onyx, ran malwarebytes, deleted me as a user, she can go back to Swagbucks (she is 87 and a bit hard headed). All is right with her world.

One other thing, when I try to retrieve her Apple ID password, using other device, I get a blank spinning page, using both her phone, my phone , her iPad, both my computers. Trying that so maybe I could log her in using Apple ID instead of user id

Sierra 10.12.6 I've Malwarebytes on it,but it says it can't install a background "something" because it won't take my password to do an install

Mom's computer suddenly ate her password. All attempts meet with nothing or swirling rotating icon. I'm an admin on her computer, we can reset my password and have-through Terminal-but that is as far as it goes, the password is not usable for anything other than logging in. Please donate to your local Lions Club. The volunteers sort and repurpose glasses for use in other countries. They can't be used in the US but are a godsend to other cultures that are not "throwaway" societies.

stir fried veggies, with cheese. Last night's left over ribs, orzo. Low country grits with bacon and shrimp. If out, ask for a veggies omelet, no eggs, hash browns. I don't eat eggs unless I know the chicken's first and last name, and don't like sweet, so soup, grilled cheese sandwich. Side of ham, grits and sliced tomatoes.

Want to access my icloud calendars on new "free" Fire HD6. Using silk and dolphin icloud says not supported. Not necessary to edit just need to view BUT editing would be added bonus.

been bowling in a league for 21 years, and can say it is the best therapy I have. After a hard day, imaging certain faces on the head pin, and trying to clip the left ear works wonders for the mood. Hanidcap leagues will love to have you, you are an entire 2nd bowler, with a 110 average. Don't let the money grubbers get to you, it s supposed to be fun, so make sure YOU do so.

I've tried a restore, didn't. It hangs up at sync contacts. Music is not a problem, it syncs. I have 700 contacts and 14 calendars. The phone is probably 90 days old. Had some problems and added a new user to the MBP for trouble shooting and started getting double and quadruple entries in calendars. That's about when the non sync troubles started, something about information belonging

MBP, 2.16 put a blank CD in, does not show up in Finder. Disk Utility says to insert a CD in before it can eject, tried starting while holding the track pad down, nothing. Using Parallels, win xp doesn't see it. Tried inserting another CD, only gets stuck and had to use tweezers to get it out, but was at least able to do that. Tried safe mode didn't fix it, but both suggestions got me thinking of Applejack. It worked! Why? Don't know, but it works, I'm happy, and I don't have to recreate me. Corrupted preference? Twisted cache? Had run Onyx, but Applejack was able to fix it.

I broke it. MBP 2.16 3g ram 10.6.8. Fired up Parallels two days ago for first time in 6 weeks, everything slow. No internet connection for Parallels, wouldn't update. Had to force quit. Restarted the Mac and since then the entire machine is near unusable. Checked Console and keep getting messages about Dock. Can not scroll over and get Dock to come out.
