As someone who still uses and very much enjoys his Canon 5D (Classic!), I thought I would finally leap into the Canon RF world so I went with the refurbed EOS R. i have been using resolve for several years. i am functional. i learned via you tube. my previous experience was with final cut pro. i have used resolve on my late 2015 imac i7. on you tube my goto has been casey faris. this is the link to his getting started in resolve 18. i wish i could suggest that i was a resource. sadly i am not. thumbs up. rob

good friend of ours was laid off from Meta this morning. been with FB/Meta for six years and was treated very well. he loved working there. was switched to the Meta-verse Lab two years ago. he was really jived on the various possibilities of an effective Meta-verse. 25yrs working in telecom/tech. no word yet on severance packages (if any!). i really hope he will be okay. t

I am scheduled at the beginning of October to have cataract surgery on my left eye. My left eye sees distance well. My right eye needs reading glasses. I have some questions about the procedure and my hopeful results. Will a mono focal lens be installed on my left eye? If so, will that mono focal lens be a corrective lens?
