Every time I make a suggestion I'm wrong, but have you taken a look at Activity Monitor to see if something is using too much CPU? LyleHby LyleH - Tips and Deals
Or the new 2023 infielder positioning may have helped batters - especially left-hander. • Two infielders must be positioned on either side of 2B when pitch is released • All four infielders must have both feet within the infield when pitcher is on rubber LyleHby LyleH - Tips and Deals
This link describes some free spreadsheets that allow for Extra Payments. Click the Extra Payments link (heading) that seems to do what you want and you can then download it. My daughter is using the Extra Payments on Monthly Payment Fixed-Rate Mortgages spreadsheet and it works for her. However, seems like my posts are usually screwed up - YMMV - Lyleby LyleH - Tips and Deals
I have a Sennheiser RS 120 wireless headset that I wear on my head, and also wear my in-the-ear hearing aids at the same time. I just checked, and I have the Sennheiser audio wires connected to my Comcast RNG150N cablebox. It is connected using the two rca audio-out (red-black) connectors. The connectors are not the audio-video out that go to the TV, but a separate rca connectors labeled “by LyleH - Tips and Deals
Wired Apple Pro Keyboard M7803 - it's what I had laying around for my M1 mini. The keypad does work on the M1. (20 years old???) LyleHby LyleH - Tips and Deals
I've used the free Dock Locker for years for keeping my Dock icons from being inadvertently dragged out of the Dock. Now has a 64-bit version. It's an icon you put in the dock - you can easily change it to have the dock Locked or Unlocked by clicking on it for its menu. I did notice you have to quit Dock Locker (in the dock-but it still is active) and then click on it again to bring up the Passby LyleH - Tips and Deals
QuotepRICE cUBE Quotehal if you could only watch one game - which is expected to be the better one? I expect the Bills vs. chefs to be the wild one based on the offensive potential of both teams. Packers and Bucs seem to run hot and cold a lot of the time. Not sure if the 29 degree weather will affect the game on the Frozen Tundra of Lambeau Field. The turf at Lambeau Field will be at 55 deby LyleH - Tips and Deals

I use several similar to these - the 9-volt batteries last "forever" and uses 2 or 4 or 6 led's at a time. They don't have a long narrow "beam" of light. This kind also comes with a shorter lightbulb part. Because they last so long I never need worry that one in my car will have a low battery. I realize they don't use AA's. Our 63rd anniversary is next month. We very rarely quarrel, and we rarely give the other the silent treatment - for even a day. We seem to "talk" out our issues and get things back on track quickly. We've had 4 kids together so there has been trying times. LyleHby LyleH - Tips and Deals
Did send/receive a LOT of Morse code while in the Navy for 4 years. Never did get involved in the "Ham operator" thing after my service time, but did do a lot of that while in the Navy. Never was very good on the "bug". Most of my receiving was by typewriter. LyleHby LyleH - Tips and Deals
For anyone who has 9-volt batteries in their smoke detectors that they change annually, here's a way to save some bucks by reusing these 9-volt batteries. These have quite a bit of juice left after one year's use in a smoke detector. A 9-volt battery snaps onto a mini-led flashlight (some have 2 led's and some have up to 6 led's). I left a 2-led flashlight like this turned on continuously forby LyleH - Tips and Deals
My 2012 - 55" Panasonic Plasma TC-P55ST50 has a power Consumption (Rated power = 390 W and Standby power is 0.2 W. It has an excellent picture. As you can imagine, it throws out a lot of heat when on, but when it's been off for awhile I can't feel any heat on any part of the unit - screen or case. The 50" TC-P50ST50 Rated power is 383 Watts, so that one must put out a lot of heatby LyleH - Tips and Deals

The BIG fireworks show on the shore of the Columbia River at Vancouver, WA, just across the river from Portland, OR, has cancelled their 4th of July event this year. Others around Oregon have also cancelled some of the 4th fireworks shows/activities. Obviously, no surprise. LyleHby LyleH - Tips and Deals
QuoteSteveO If I could find where deleted items go on the iPhone...a folder or something...maybe I could use some commercial app to pry it open. I used to have a PhoneView license back in Snow Leopard days, I will look into that and see if it can do anything. I have the (not free) app iMazing on my iMac, and they have really opened up things I can look at on my iPad, such as "Files" aby LyleH - Tips and Deals
Can't tell on your remarks, but if you have Comcast, you could drive somewhere where there's higher speed Comcast. Anyone (house or business) who has Comcast with their dual router can be used by anyone to log in with the house's/businesses speed. You just need your Comcast name and password to log in at that location's speed. I can do that at my daughter's place. LyleHby LyleH - Tips and Deals
My wife and I get our Social Security automatically deposited to our respective banks. Haven't received the stimulus checks as yet in our checking accounts. Seems like "Get My Payment" doesn't tell us anything. 2018 & 2019 we didn't get any refund so they don't have our bank information from that source. LyleHby LyleH - Tips and Deals
Some people, like me, use an older iPad as a digital photo displayer. Have 1600 pics on it that randomly display pics. The hardest part is finding an app that will display the pics randomly that will work on older iPads. We have ours setting just below the TV - something to watch during commercials, etc. Of course, it has to be plugged in as the battery won't last all day. Ours is on 14by LyleH - Tips and Deals
Quotetuqqer I'm using my wife's bra, and that seems to have stopped the COVID. If I sense a transmission has occurred near me, I switch to the other cup mid-Costco trip. I'm not on Facebook and I can view it - Thanks - LyleHby LyleH - Tips and Deals
I've used 3 older iPads to run around 2100 pics. The oldest one, an iPad1 with 16 gigs is still being used by my daughter to run her Slideshow. I've run Slideshow on an iPad3 and currently on an iPad4. Unfortunately, this program is very old and has a yellowish icon with a black palm tree on the left side. It does have a couple of quirks associated with adding additional pics to an existing sby LyleH - Tips and Deals
I stopped riding my motorcycle in Oregon around 2000. I believe the attendants would sometimes let me fill my bike with gas because of the danger of gas spilling too easily on the hot motor and starting a fire. And, if they filled it they had to stay there to finish the filling. So they let me have the "fun". LyleHby LyleH - Tips and Deals
On my Frontier landline I had 2 of the wording "Potential Spam" instead of the "Name" on my caller ID, both with different phone numbers. Both of them on November 21, and haven't had any more since. LyleHby LyleH - Tips and Deals

We have 2 species that over-winter here in Portland, OR. I have a light bulb (with an aluminum cone to direct the heat) hanging underneath one of our feeders that keeps the solution warm when it gets freezing cold overnight. They also just sit on the feeder to keep warm. I bring in the 2 other feeders when it freezes overnight. Only have about 3 birds that hang around our feeders at wintertimby LyleH - Tips and Deals
Quotemrlynn Clicking on my secondary monitor doesn't get the apps opening on it. My apps always open on the monitor they were last on (2015 iMac, OS 10.12.6). Quotedatbeme QuoteLyleH May not what you mean to do, but if you single-left-click on the monitor you want an app to open on/in and then launch the app it will open in that window.
