Any problems upgrading an M1 Mini From Monterey to Ventura or Sonoma - 3 days ago

So this is an M1 Mini (16GB RAM, 2TBSSD) and there's some software I want to use that requires at least Ventura. But...I remember much gnashing of teeth about the user interface in Ventura, and I haven't heard anything amazingly good or bad about Sonoma. So what says the collected MRF wisdom? Any reason not to upgrade? Anybody upgrade and regret it? Thanks!

My dad had this. Sometimes you can correct/treat it by medicine, sometimes by electric shock, and sometimes by surgery. For my dad, it was electric shock. For a good friend of mine, it was surgery. In each case, it wasn't urgent, and in each case, good results.

I’ve used Mac whisper, and it is a great app! The only downside that I could see is that it is not great. I’m breaking text into sentences and paragraphs. But for pure word for word transcription, it is amazing.

It depends on your overall budget. For me, probably around $100-$150. The M1 and M2 are just that much better, and the wave of the future.

I have a business need for multiple people each to collect various subordinates' names and email addresses. It would be dead simple to do this in a two column table. BUT FORMS DOESN'T INCLUDE TABLES! What kind of POS software design is this??????

Thanks! The one in the older OBT isn’t compatible either the one in the newer modem. And I can pick up a pair of Frontier adapts on eBay for $60. Quotegadje your FIOS ONT may have MoCA adapter built it. I think mine does. I have some MoCA adapters but I was too lazy to try to hook it up. Maybe one of these days. All I am trying to say is that you may only need 1 MoCA adapter, not 2.
