For a guy who seems to want to change humanity he has appallingly little concern for how humanity perceives him. Maybe the same thing behind that unawareness is part of what enables his ambition, I don’t know. But what I do know is that I will never buy a Tesla or use Twitter again because of him. He is such a personal @#$%& and in so many directions that I want no part of my money or attentby tenders - Tips and Deals
Solid work. Most stuff that goes wrong with furnaces is not too complicated to fix if you're willing to poke around.by tenders - Tips and Deals

Quotegabester The standard should be clear - sharing a depiction of another person in situations without their consent is harassment. If I share an image of you in an Italian restaurant saying you like spaghetti, harassment. If I share an image of you running to make your flight at the airport, harassment. If I share an image of you (un)dressed salaciously or even fully wholesome, harassmby tenders - Tips and Deals
You may need to grant Jiggler a system-level permission to allow it to bump the mouse around on its own. This is a Control Panel step, as I recall, not a Terminal command. Edit: I guess "Control Panel" isn't a thing any more. When did that term go away? Might have been phased out in the leap to OS X. Where is the Mini iLeader now?by tenders - Tips and Deals
The new "print center" app (which seems to have been resurrected from 10.0) no longer allows you to move print jobs from one printer's queue to another. I've used this feature for decades and would not have upgraded my spiffy M2 Mini Pro to Sonoma had I known it was not present. This isn't my entry, but I did submit a gripe to Apple Feedback.by tenders - Tips and Deals
I was going to agree with C(-)ris until I looked on Amazon and discovered how hard it is to find iPhones and Macs that are no longer supported but are not labeled as off-the-run technology. In fact I couldn’t find any. And if Amazon is going to charge a fee for third party resellers then they are at least partially to blame for product descriptions that aren’t complete enough for a consumer tby tenders - Tips and Deals
I pulled the trigger on the Amazon deal for an M2 Pro mini 16/512. This replaces my 2014 Hackintosh i7-3.5GHz/16/256, an elderly brute of a machine which continues to be entirely serviceable. Unfortunately, as my primary machine it was so finicky to upgrade OS versions and Clover that I had to stop during the pandemic with Mojave. I know it can go to Catalina and I think it can be coaxed to Moby tenders - Tips and Deals
I listen incessantly to Bloomberg radio on 1130 AM in the car in the NYC area. The signal travels for about 100 miles at night.by tenders - 'Friendly' Political Ranting
This is not a bad idea at all but the time, money, and uncertainty you spend upgrading an old propane grill may not be worth the benefit. Unfortunately I don’t have any advice for how to do this but when I replaced my old NG grill I looked into buying a propane one and converting it. It just didn’t make sense and I was able to find a more-than-acceptable grill that was NG from the factory.by tenders - Tips and Deals
QuoteGGD I wonder if this was an unannounced part of the settlement with Dominion. Same thing crossed my mind - but I also wonder if it's part of a settlement/peace offering for the NEXT lawsuit.by tenders - Tips and Deals

There are so many other violations being ignored by law enforcement now in NYC that I would be incensed if distracted walking were one that were being enforced. Electric scooters being driven recklessly on the roads and highways. Marijuana being consumed in moving cars. Obscured license plates to evade tolls and enforcement of all other vehicle regulations. Homeless vagrants harassing people iby tenders - Tips and Deals
I think the decision to sign Dylan Mulvaney was made by a Harvard marketing VP with almost 20 years of experience. Apparently that is not enough experience. This will not change my consumption habits. I am not a beer snob but Bud Light is a miserable beverage no matter who is endorsing it. I actually like a fresh mug of draft regular Bud from time to time.by tenders - Tips and Deals
My experience has been that the Chinese engines themselves are pretty good - but there are often problems with all the stuff that attaches to the engine, like the fuel systems (carburetor and hoses), electronics, wiring, pull start equipment, etc….all of which can render the device as inoperable as an engine failure.by tenders - Tips and Deals
We could talk about the concept of formulas giving zeroes when one wants blanks…or we could talk about the actual formula giving Paul zeroes when he wants blanks. Assuming this isn’t a KFC eleven secret herbs and spices situation, what’s the formula?by tenders - Tips and Deals
QuoteSpeedy I guess the fire plug was just the icing on the cake. Thought he’d missed the fire plug on the first few loops. Was worth going back and looking for specifically. Ziiiiing! EDIT: also funny that he managed to kick on the left turn signal. EDIT: what do we suppose was the plan here? He seems determined to get his left foot out, the door shut, and both feet on the windshieldby tenders - Tips and Deals
Oh, it’s easy to lose real money in credit cards - just offer too many cards to too many people who default on their balances. It’s very easy to overextend credit when times are good. You only make money on people who carry balances. Those who pay off their balances are breakeven customers. Credit card companies (all banks actually) have to set money aside in anticipation of default risk.by tenders - Tips and Deals
I have a TP-Link mesh router system (router plus two remote nodes) and happily recommend it. I don't think my system cost more than $150 when I put it in at the beginning of the pandemic and I haven't really touched it since, except to update the firmware, which I really just did for fun. With mesh you don't have to think about which network or transmitting node to choose initially or as you moveby tenders - Tips and Deals

Are your contacts checked to sync with iCloud in the Mac's iCloud system preferences, and on the Contacts preferences on the phone for the correct account? If so, sometimes logging out of iCloud and logging back in fixes this stuff too. Do you have any other devices that can confirm if Contact syncing is working correctly?by tenders - Tips and Deals
Really interesting but impossible to interpret without some measure of the typical annual flow variation (ie, standard deviation). The tilt towards red in the red/blue balance certainly does suggest an overall droughty year. The PNW sure looks moist this year. Would be nice to be able to drain some of that south and east.by tenders - Tips and Deals
This didn’t happen to you, did it? I replaced a keyboard only to find that the problem was, indeed, SOFTWARE. Boy did I ever feel dumb.by tenders - Tips and Deals
Quotechopper I'm not a huge RZ500 fan. I own 2-3 and…. I love how in cycledom it is perfectly acceptable to say you own a range of integers of motorcycles. The number is 3 if you’re talking to an aficionado. The number is 2 if the topic comes up with your spouse. Both are verifiably correct, I’m sure.by tenders - Tips and Deals
Sorry. I suspect there is a way to do this - there is always a way in Excel if you spend enough time on it - but intercellular text wrangling is not something I’ve done much of.by tenders - Tips and Deals
Create a new column that concatenates the text with the calculated number, and align the cells as you see fit. For example, if your calculation is cell A1 is 3.45 and the text you want to refer to that number is the phrase “Ha! Trivial!” in cell A2, then you could use stuff like: =CONCATENATE(TEXT(A1,”0.00”), “ “,A2) or =CONCATENATE(A2,”—>”,TEXT(A1,”0.00”))by tenders - Tips and Deals

A leak of a corporate action like this, if it is in fact a leak and not a hoax, will probably stop it from happening for now. Not all stock splits require shareholder votes BTW. The board of directors can approve them when issued in the form of a “stock dividend.”by tenders - Tips and Deals
Reddit has a hard time rising above frivolity since the barriers to posting and responding are so low. Same with Facebook Groups. I find them both very frustrating for any useful purpose. There really is no substitute for the moderated forum format, like this one. So thank you, Larry, for your ongoing support.by tenders - Tips and Deals
