The new "print center" app (which seems to have been resurrected from 10.0) no longer allows you to move print jobs from one printer's queue to another. I've used this feature for decades and would not have upgraded my spiffy M2 Mini Pro to Sonoma had I known it was not present. This isn't my entry, but I did submit a gripe to Apple Feedback.

This is not a bad idea at all but the time, money, and uncertainty you spend upgrading an old propane grill may not be worth the benefit. Unfortunately I don’t have any advice for how to do this but when I replaced my old NG grill I looked into buying a propane one and converting it. It just didn’t make sense and I was able to find a more-than-acceptable grill that was NG from the factory.

I think the decision to sign Dylan Mulvaney was made by a Harvard marketing VP with almost 20 years of experience. Apparently that is not enough experience. This will not change my consumption habits. I am not a beer snob but Bud Light is a miserable beverage no matter who is endorsing it. My experience has been that the Chinese engines themselves are pretty good - but there are often problems with all the stuff that attaches to the engine, like the fuel systems (carburetor and hoses), electronics, wiring, pull start equipment, etc….all of which can render the device as inoperable as an engine failure.

Oh, it’s easy to lose real money in credit cards - just offer too many cards to too many people who default on their balances. It’s very easy to overextend credit when times are good. You only make money on people who carry balances. Those who pay off their balances are breakeven customers. Credit card companies (all banks actually) have to set money aside in anticipation of default risk.

I have a TP-Link mesh router system (router plus two remote nodes) and happily recommend it. I don't think my system cost more than $150 when I put it in at the beginning of the pandemic and I haven't really touched it since, except to update the firmware, which I really just did for fun. Are your contacts checked to sync with iCloud in the Mac's iCloud system preferences, and on the Contacts preferences on the phone for the correct account? If so, sometimes logging out of iCloud and logging back in fixes this stuff too. Do you have any other devices that can confirm if Contact syncing is working correctly?

Really interesting but impossible to interpret without some measure of the typical annual flow variation (ie, standard deviation). The tilt towards red in the red/blue balance certainly does suggest an overall droughty year. The PNW sure looks moist this year. Would be nice to be able to drain some of that south and east.

Create a new column that concatenates the text with the calculated number, and align the cells as you see fit. For example, if your calculation is cell A1 is 3.45 and the text you want to refer to that number is the phrase “Ha! Trivial!” in cell A2, then you could use stuff like: =CONCATENATE(TEXT(A1,”0.00”), “ “,A2) or =CONCATENATE(A2,”—>”,TEXT(A1,”0.00”))

A leak of a corporate action like this, if it is in fact a leak and not a hoax, will probably stop it from happening for now. Not all stock splits require shareholder votes BTW. The board of directors can approve them when issued in the form of a “stock dividend.”

Reddit has a hard time rising above frivolity since the barriers to posting and responding are so low. Same with Facebook Groups. I find them both very frustrating for any useful purpose.
