Doesn't look legit to me. How big is your lot? I bought a Echo battery string trimmer and will never go back to a gas one again. Uses the same battery as my mower, goes through about half the charge doing a standard sized lot. If you already have a bunch of cordless tools and batteries just get one that uses the same battery.

At this point, I'd do an erase and reinstall of the OS. If that doesn't fix it, definitely a hardware problem. Unless it is under Applecare it will not be worth fixing.

Make sure that whatever you order is DOT approved. A lot of the cheap ones are not, and while it might not make a difference in day to day driving, if there is an accident with a fatality or major injury they do check to make sure all safety equipment is certified. If you were rear ended and seriously injured it could be a liability problem if you used an aftermarket tail light that wasn't DOT

I know a few people here are local to Chicago and hoping I can get some solid feedback. I have to drive from Wisconsin to Ohio going through Chicago on Friday May 2nd. Wondering what the best daylight time frame would be to head through. I need to be in Ohio by around 4pm. For sound proofing you want to use something like Dynamat on the inside. For rust proofing you want something oil based like Fluidfilm on the underside. You don't want a rubberized undercoating, they breed rust.

You get what you pay for with monitors for the most part. I'm fond of the LG monitors. We have around a hundred of them at work and they have been far more reliable and have better picture quality than the HPs that are on the PCs. I wouldn't touch cast iron plumbing unless you are fully prepared to have to rip it all out and replace with PVC. It is unpredictable where it will crack when moving it around even on the best days with experienced plumbers.

Why didn't you just solder a new fuse in? It isn't a user serviceable part, so no need to have a fuse holder. Anyone who can take the thing apart and diagnose the fuse should be able to solder a new one in. Typically fuse holders are only used if the fuse is accessible without disassembly.

The real problem was that it needs to be fitted to an individual person and that it can't deal with glasses. Those are two huge obstacles to overcome before there is mass adoption of that product. I'd buy one of the cheaper version, but only if I can share it with everyone in the household.
