Thanks for the responses. I'm relatively sure that the solution is a replacement that draws in air from the front and exhausts out the back as per tradition. I'm relieved to hear that other makes haven't all gone this bizarro route. The GE designer of this one must have been on a bender, or dyslexic, or maybe was attempting to get "creative".

my draft theory: to clarify, it's situated in a kind of half-alcove in the kitchen, which may be amplifying the effect of that air draw/ negative air pressure, creating such a noticeable draft in adjacent rooms (w lots of older windows).

Yeah, this one sounds like it inherited a lot of that GE turbine DNA. Can someone check their reasonably current mdl for its air intake and exhaust location? (I used an empty thin grocery produce bag as the directional indicator) As I noted above, mine seems to cause a draft problem in the house perhaps because it draws IN air from the back and exhausts it out the front, the opposite of

Previous fridge here was a GE from the late '80's until last week! Just got a new GE fridge, basic mdl. I don’t like it. It’s running noise is often and fairly loud, and when the fan finally cycles off it makes this ridiculous gurgling/sucking sound on & off for the next minute that’s highly annoying. Even worse, it creates a lot of draft throughout the next couple of rooms which is not pleasant this winter. Is there anything better out there w

They could have made themselves heroes by donating Unforced... They had already had made maybe a 6-figure profit before amazon pulled the plug, I doubt they managed to put Too much of that back into the subsequent purchases. --Good thing for them it was hand sanitizer; if they had cornered the TP market instead, they probably would have been mummified, or worse.

Inappropriate U-turns must be the hallmark of Amazon drivers. I often see their trucks attempting the maneuver in the worst possible/most dangerous spot you could pick. They need better training.

I saw the Pod, that's a possibility... Some rooms ($133-149 that I see) have shared baths, the more expensive ones have private bath. Keep the suggestions coming!

eBay is the way. Davester is right in that you should have a good idea of the value before listing it. I'd put a healthy BIN price on it w/Best Offer option, plus enough shipping for you to pack it or (better) pay someone else to do. Ship via ShipBikes or their competitor. I sold a similar vintage Italian, a really nice Campy-equipped Francesco Moser on eBay a number of yrs back for near $2k.

I'll be there next week, a downtown location could be good, but not strictly necessary. Booking for 1. Give or take $100/night? Less is better, unless it means worse night's sleep, sub-par shower, etc. A little more OK if made for a significantly better experience. (I've never stayed at a hostel, would consider if had private room?)

Hope this is not a trend. Maybe it was primarily just to shake out the scammers etc in that category. But I dutifully paid up my $5; the only upside I see from here is that now when I go back to edit the listing (other other non-car listing) the next day, it doesn't require signing in anymore.

Some of the exterior rubber seal on a fixed/non-opening side window of a 25yr old car is letting a bit of water come through. I just checked its IMEI w/ Tello (a Sprint MVNO) cust svc and that came up good. So far so good. Hey Cam, that's excellent re the APPL trade-in, something I may take advantage of, sooner or later. Yeah, definitely cheap enough. No xfinity/comcast here, clay. Pay as you go could be appealing though, as early on it may only get fairly limited use. Keep those plan ideas coming.
