First review I've seen: Still not sure what the price in the U.S. will be (video refers to it being almost half the cost), but may be an attractive alternative to the Apple Studio Display, for some. I've been waiting for more information since the January announcement but this seems underwhelming at best. I guess I'm back to leaning toward Apple's Display or maybe going the 4K route...

I have both Mojave and Catalina running very well on a 2009 iMac via dosdude's patcher for unsupported Macs There are some caveats depending on your particular hardware but everything is running smoothly for me except that the built-in camera doesn't seem to work with 3rd party apps (works fine with FaceTime and PhotoBooth but not Zoom). Is anyone's built-in camera working with 3rd party apps like Zoom after using dosdude's patch to upgrade the OS? I recently installed both Mojave and Catalina on an 11,1 iMac and the camera works with PhotoBooth and FaceTime but not Zoom. The support materials indicate that internal camera functionality seems to be hit or miss; a bit of a bummer but not really a deal breaker for this machine..

Roughly two categories of use: (1) basic home/office needs of parents (likely go with cheapest option) (2) home office + moderate video and photo editing (more inclined to step up to NVMe) The 500 GB SanDisk can be had for $90 and the Pro for $120; also considering the Samsung T5 (SATA, $110) and T7 (NVMe, $130). As jdc mentioned, a lower capacity 2.5" drive + case can be had for less.

I'm considering getting external SSDs to serve as the boot drives for some Late 2015 iMacs. Given that these iMacs don't have USB-C (but do have USB 3.0) will there really be much of a difference going from a SATA SSD to NVMe? Specifically, I'm looking at the SanDisk Extreme (SATA, 550 MB/s) or the Pro version (NVMe, 1050 MB/s) and could save some money by going the SATA route if there would b

Is this for a one-off batch of files or on an ongoing basis for individual files? Making a quick "signature" of a handwritten date may be the easiest method. Acrobat will allow you to add a watermark or header/footer but it sounds like you may not have that. Automator can add a watermark image to PDF files. I just installed ScanSnap Manager v 3.2.91.1001 under MOSX 10.14.6 to run an older ScanSnap fi-5110EOXM. I've only scanned a few things so far but it seems to be working fine.
