No, but had a buddy that drove an '83...was really a great car. Loved the sound of that rotary engine.by Mike F. - Tips and Deals
My dad always tells me (I'm now a father of three)...you can borrow for college but you can't borrow for retirement. Save for retirement first THEN save for college for your kids with what's left over.by Mike F. - Tips and Deals
Quotethe_poochiesI thought that Nutt was telling the press that Mustain still may play for the Razorbacks in the fall. The fact that he hasn't shown up for class this semester hasn't stopped generations of (ahem) student-athletes. ;) Not in the SEC, that's fer sher...as they say in the SEC, if you ain't cheatin' you ain't tryin'.by Mike F. - Tips and Deals
QuoteLux InteriorYes. You thank that Penn Stater! Yeah, but he suuuuuuuuuuuucked at Penn State, Lux. Remember those misses in the 6-4 loss to Iowa in the "bad old days?" (Including a 25 yarder!) Glad he's doing well now, though. Nothing like a kicking coach to help you out.by Mike F. - Tips and Deals
First this... Then this... Solid relief...honestly.by Mike F. - Tips and Deals
My brother had an '87 GNX...that car ROCKED!by Mike F. - Tips and Deals
QuoteRAMd®dFortunately, that card doesn't work in my MDD. Well, at least you saved me some frustration, RAMd®d...no card for me!by Mike F. - Tips and Deals
QuoteChupa, you don't even want them to predict snow in the DC metro area. I remember when I lived there, folks would pull off Shirley Highway in a panic when the first snowflake hit their windshield (only a small hyperbole). I lived in the district during the '95-'96 blizzard and the city only had like two working snow plows. They never did plow my block (29th and Dumbarton NW)...snow finallyby Mike F. - Tips and Deals
Wow. That's cool! Best wishes to the happy couple.by Mike F. - Tips and Deals
QuoteAre people getting tired of rebates. I find myself just passing anymore. Frys always has good non-rebate deals on hard drives and lately even Best Buy had some instant savings non-rebate deals. ChumpUSA is the worst. Almost everything is a rebate. I LOVE rebates and always have. I am still batting 1.000 on them (probably redeemed about 75 over the past six or seven years). Closest I everby Mike F. - Tips and Deals
QuoteThe question is: will all the previous TaxCut for Mac users who were cheesed off by getting the rug pulled out from under them even bother coming back? Nope. Screw them now.by Mike F. - Tips and Deals
Is it this one? That seems like a pretty good deal to me...final price should be somewhere around $925...didn't apply any sales tax to my final price, either.by Mike F. - Tips and Deals
I agree with rz...sounds like capacity is your problem, not temperature. What size?by Mike F. - Tips and Deals
We have a winner! Thanks for playing...by Mike F. - Tips and Deals
I have 30 minutes of free computer to phone Skype calls burning a hole in my pocket. I'm not going to use it, so first one to private message me gets the code.by Mike F. - Tips and Deals
My family and guests in my home are welcome to wear anything they want on their feet inside my home. Carpets and floors can be replaced...visit with friends and family can't. I actually regularly turn down invitations to a couple of my relatives' homes because they ask everyone to remove their shoes when the come in. Eff that noise. If your floors or carpeting are more important than my presenby Mike F. - Tips and Deals
I JUST hit that page via StumbleUpon yesterday. Excellent shots...and a great coincidence.by Mike F. - Tips and Deals
Congrats to the Buckeyes from Penn State land...well played. Now, win it all for the Big Ten!by Mike F. - Tips and Deals
Don't have one anymore. Penn State and Pitt stopped playing each other in football in 2000...but I LOVE Penn State and love that Pitt has an inferiority complex over Penn State...if you don't believe me, I'll prove it to you: The final three (unofficial) words of the Pitt alma mater? "F*#k Penn State!"by Mike F. - Tips and Deals
Go rake my leaves! That's pretty darn entertaining...by Mike F. - Tips and Deals

In days: 3.5 vacation (start with 18 that don't carry over) 27 sick (five added per year and they carry over) 20 "hospital days" (used in lieu of sick days when hospitalized; 20 maximum) Exciting, eh?by Mike F. - Tips and Deals
Local papers write almost all heds...like Gutie says, it's usually a space issue.by Mike F. - Tips and Deals
I loved my '89 Civic Si...prior to V-TECH, but it was still a fun car to drive. Put 225,000 miles on that car... LIKE MINE, THIS ONE HAS SEEN BETTER DAYS.by Mike F. - Tips and Deals
I wouldn't tip them. It just happens to be a time-consuming install. Had it done early this year...hang fiber optic cable from the main line to my house...install a new box outside...install power supply/backup inside...run RJ-45...connect, etc. Took the guy about five hours. He'll be adequately compensated by Verizon. However, coffee and some muffins wouldn't be so bad.by Mike F. - Tips and Deals
QuotejardsterThey suggested that I use their router, but when I called the Mac customer support, they said ANY wireless router will work. Which is true, I plugged in my old Netgear and it works great. Yeah, they told me (when I had it installed early this year) that their router had some special "diagnostic tools" installed for tech support but that any router works...and they do.by Mike F. - Tips and Deals
