I bought the electric model sold by Northern Tools. Don't have a catalog handy right now but I remember it being fairly reasonable in price. It works great once you get the angles set correctly.

Ordered one first thing this AM, black w/32GB. Sure did hurt to look at the final cost though. A few pennies less than $500 with tax, recycling fee, and 30 pin adapter.

I can certainly empathize with you. That sounds like the story of my life until 2 years ago. Finally got a wireless internet provider in Chico (about 35 miles from me) who thought they might be able to provide me service by installing the antenna about a 100' up a pine tree in my front yard which had a line of sight on one of their repeaters. They did, it worked, and I have been one happy camp

Thanks guys. I had just never tried to turn on screen sharing in any OS X version and didn't note that remote management had been checked so it just wasn't registering in my brain.

When I try to turn screen sharing on in the "Sharing" folder of system preferences I get a message saying "screen sharing is being controlled by Remote Management service". Using 10.8 (or at least I'm trying to)

I owned a 2006 Kia Sorento for 4 years and was very happy with it with two exceptions, the seats were uncomfortable as they could get and the fuel milage was almost always 16MPG (it was a four wheel drive though).

I did a STF and found nothing. Is there a way to restore scroll arrows in Lion? Tried Apple support with no luck also.

I'm with you guys. After installing an SSD for boot drive on both my MacbookPro and my IMac (IMac via FW800) I just don't think there is anyway in he** I can go back to an HDD.

If it is building material it may be due to building codes. I have been unable to order certain roofing shingles from Home Depot because of local (county) building code.

I just installed my new OWC 3G SSD in an external firewire case and hooked it up to my 27" Core I5 Imac via the FW800 port and my boot time over the installed SATA connected mech drive is 48 seconds vs 1 minute . All windows open much faster so the answer in my case is noticeable boost in speed with the ext SSD.

Thanks silvarios. Would it slow the thru put to the same speeds as FW800 w/mechanical HD or would there be any noticeable increase in speed due to decreased seek times, etc. of the SSD?

Not very knowledgeable about SSD's and would like to know if hooking up an SSD in ext case to my IMac via the FW800 would attain anything near the speeds of an internal SSD. Just purchased a 15" MacBookPro and put one of our sponsor's SSD drives in it and was truly amazed at the speed of the thing so now I'm wanting to get some that speed for my IMac boot drive.

Add the "Smaller-Bigger" button to your Tools bar which allows you to increase/decrease the size of the font in the selected email.
