I think it's poetic that the Donald's show was broken into for the live event. Makes me think of how Mr. Trump was going birther for his own benifit while our Pres. was trying to do good work like the economy, the tornado victims, and Oh yea Bin Laden mission in Afgananistan. Trumps a F-ing opportunist and now I don't know or care who was fired! (who was?)by Harry in MI - 'Friendly' Political Ranting
Hello All, I haven't posted in several years but find myself in the need of the forum once again. My trusty Laserwriter 16/600 ate a sheet of paper and really jammed up the fuser assembly. I hadn't used the printer much and moved it a few times and I think a good bit of toner got loose in the printer and made for a mess inside, I think the excess toner caused a page to jam due to a build upby Harry in MI - Tips and Deals
I remember the Starbucks pipeline one ( west to east coast), biggest issue was getting enough coffee in the pipeline was to prime it.by Harry in MI - Tips and Deals
Do you have a check valve on the discharge side? It keeps water in the discharge line from flowing back past the pump after the pump shuts off. Without one water can flow back each time pump stops and contribute to a short cycling problem.by Harry in MI - Tips and Deals
I was told by a Postal worker that they have whatever the prevailing rate of a first class stamp is when used. So yes, they can be added up to mail a package.by Harry in MI - Tips and Deals
Hello, I sell on eBay and an hour ago I went to list an item and ebay popped up a notice saying I was being blocked from selling because my detailed feedbacks were too low. They are not too low according to their own numbers so I tried and contact eBay and can find no links for email, live chat, or phone numbers. No system announcements were found, etc. Could someone who sells on eBay atteby Harry in MI - Tips and Deals

I installed a vent fan/light/heater combo, it had a toaster coil heater and not a heat lamp. The toaster coil heater need is close to 1000 watts and I needed #12 for it coming from the panel to the triple wall switch. A pair or #14's (one was 14/3) was needed for the light/fan/heater wiring from the switch to the unit to have control independently over all 3 functions. It's a bit noisy in thby Harry in MI - Tips and Deals

Hello, My Laserwriter 16/600 which is hooked to my wireless router via ethernet cable seems to be taking 5 times as long to print as before. I send print jobs to it via my G4 Powerbook using the airport card. If I look at the printer status on the desktop it seems to send all the extra time " Preparing data " . What used to take 1 or 2 minutes to print can be like 5 to 10 minutesby Harry in MI - Tips and Deals
I liked this line in his eBay description: 5. If you roll up to the Star Trek convention in this thing you will most likely have your choice of EITHER of the chicks that are there (or possibly both of them if you play your cards right, it depends on your Wookie).by Harry in MI - Tips and Deals
If you can't find such a charger at least use a white shrink wrap on the individual batteries so you can then Sharpie in bright Red "Don't Throw These Batteries Out!" or some such warning.by Harry in MI - Tips and Deals
I think the US Govt. could end most worldwide spam/scams just by forcing Microsoft to put all it's tech phone/email support in Nigeria. Then all the Nigerian spammers/scammers would have real jobs (?) and Microsoft would have a diligent and creative tech support staff. Just and idea.by Harry in MI - Tips and Deals
"Some of those 50's era sirens were just incredible from a loudspeaker standpoint. They tuned the exhaust from big V8 engines to make the siren sound, producing just insane SPL (sound pressure levels)." These didn't use the exhaust but fans, they were Chrysler Hemi Powered though. Pretty Cool!by Harry in MI - Tips and Deals
My Fridge is a 7/8 year old GE counter depth bought at the local Habitat for Humanity Restore. It's a 2K$ (currently) fridge I paid $400.00 for. It's the feel good Cats Xss. It's got the wood panels in front, door service Ice/Water, (side by side) and I saved $1600.00. It also doesn't narrow my already narrow galley kitchen. A score!by Harry in MI - Tips and Deals
"yes I saw that too, at USPS the cheapest option online is Priority Mail, via PayPal you can do First Class." I find that interesting because the other day I went to ship to Sweden and I had only 2 options via PayPal, Intl. Priority, and Express ?. I went directly to the USPS sight and I could send it at least to cheaper ways (Intl. Parcel Post, and maybe flat rate envelope. Point isby Harry in MI - Tips and Deals
I think the "ask the builder" version was the big round "pipe cleaner" as he called it, not really any comparison. The diamond back SS/Pine Needle version must be pricey, though I gave up looking for a price online. Seems like a lot of the products are the dealer installed variety so the cost per foots likely going to be 3 or 4 times what I mentioned.by Harry in MI - Tips and Deals

My local lumberyard has these, looks promising for $2.50 a foot or so. Easy to install, may need an occasional removal for cleaning, which seems typical.by Harry in MI - Tips and Deals

Does sound like a possible sensor issue, like a coolant temp sensor telling the computer it's always in a cold start situation. It's also more common on the ODB 1 cars to not always trigger the check engine light when some items fail.by Harry in MI - Tips and Deals
As I posted on the earlier thread my local dollar store had a bunch of Chinese candy and food. I'd bet if I grabbed 10 bags of various chinese candy of the shelf and they were all tested at least 1 or 2 wouldn't be safe. Unbelievable.by Harry in MI - Tips and Deals
