Thanks ADent, I'll check to see about the closed caption thingamabob. But, I haven't change anything, and I'm the only one who has used this TV. I know, silvar, some day, some day, we will get another new TV. We actually have a nice Sony, but it's in another location. I'll use this old one for a monitor, it make a good monitor. I just loosen me accounts very sloooowly.

TheTom, I think that's wha' it is. It sure looks like something generated by a broadcaster. Wha's strange though, is it will eventually allow the channels to come back on. deck, you nailed me problem. I'm way too keen on keeping me lucres in me own accounts. Some might even say too frugal.

pdq, you nailed it. I checked at Batteries Plus for a MacBook battery, and it was cheaper to buy from Apple! Much less OWC. I'd use OWC meself.
