All the Apple Store had me do was disable Find My, which required my password (they looked the other way), and confirm that I had made a backup to iCloud (I’d also backed up to my computer). I got back my iPhone with all data intact. There was nothing I needed to do regarding restoring data.

I wanted to change from Medicare Advantage to Medicare with Medigap and a prescription plan. The online tool told me I’d spend $200/year on meds. I hit the button to look at the breakdown of costs. One of the meds was listed as $1,200/month. That’s quite a discrepancy. After spending a day looking at options with conflicting/non-sensical data, I gave up and stuck with Humana Medicare

link to ifixit Changing the hard drive on a 2012 Mac Mini is above. I have a 2012 Mac Mini server with the i7 cpu and two SSD’s. It functions well as a home theater PC running JRiver Media Center in Windows 10.

It requires a bit of hunting to find the free version on their website, and they are about to discontinue the free version. I found the first episode I saw of BBT to be irritating, and found none of the characters to be likable. My wife convinced me to give it a chance and watch a few more episodes, and I got hooked. We have since seen the whole series from start to end twice. I’m reminded of some British TV shows that are much more enjoyable once you get to know and like the characters. I’ll miss Young

I use JRiver Media Center to convert from AIFF or WAV to FLAC. JRMC looks a lot like iTunes from way back, but is extremely versatile and customizable. I use it in Theater Mode on a Home Theater PC instead of Plex. It is not free, however, but at least it is not subscription based. It’s available for Mac or Linux or Windows, or a more expensive license that covers use on all of them.

I have a Harbor Freight 12” compound sliding miter saw. It required blade angle adjustment out of the box, and it blows most of the sawdust everywhere except the collection bag, but does a great job and was dirt cheap.
