17-Year-Old Designed a Motor That Could Potentially Transform the Electric Car Industryby mspace - Tips and Deals
Thanks all! That was short lived. They just sent an email changing the Prius to a Honda HR-V. Oh well. We were psyched to check out the Prius. Maybe next time.by mspace - Tips and Deals
I waited and got the 13 Mini. Been very happy with it. I know it will last for at least the 4 year minimum it takes me to upgrade my phone.by mspace - Tips and Deals
We got rid of our 1999 Subaru Legacy after it was hit when parked for the second time. Sigh. Loved it, ran well, but the body was on its way out. Also, we were just moving it for alternate side parking more than anything (a NYC thing). Now we use ZipCar. They just changed us from a Honda Civic to a Toyota Prius for our next reservation! Never been in or driven a Prius before! I'm sure thereby mspace - Tips and Deals
I use iDrive. It has improved a lot over time. Can be frustrating, but been with them long enough to fix things on my end, now that I understand it. CS has been "OK". Haven't had to deal with them in a while. Web interface is good. Easy to download files. I would give it a try.by mspace - Tips and Deals
Another vote for Zenni. And I go to a neighborhood optical place if they need adjustments. They never turned me away because I didn't get them there.by mspace - Tips and Deals
Used to have a KVM switch, but circumstances aged it out. Not sure if these will help . . . We use this keyboard. It switches well between three computers. - We set up the monitor/computers with this HDMI Switch 4K@60Hz 3 in 1 Out HDMI Splitter -by mspace - Tips and Deals
Very happy with my 13 mini. May it last for the next 4 years or so.by mspace - Tips and Deals
I used it. I was able to send a 45lb box of clothing to Ukraine for a $15 label via UPS. Became aware of them via a clothing company that had paired with them. Did some research and they seem legit. If you want a free shipping label, they then donate to who they choose. For the $15, you get to choose from their list of possible groups. It's a good overall list. Of course, I have no REALby mspace - Tips and Deals
Contact a medicare agent good for your state. Make sure they rep more than just one insurance company. Agents are free to you. They get commissions from the insurance companies. All those rates are the same to prevent favoritism. I use an agent and make sure to do all my sign ups through him so he can get paid, even if I could do it on line directly. He has been VERY helpful to solve a fewby mspace - Tips and Deals
I'm getting notices for this thread. I just realized that the "Hide My Email" address I created to solve the issue forwards to the gmail address I was using that stopped working. For some reason, when I used my domain email addy, forwarded to the same gmail address, it didn't work.by mspace - Tips and Deals
Quotetuqqer I just remembered (and looked) how I got it to work again: I switched from Gmail (after 10 years of it working) to my own domain's email. Ha, and here I thought I was the only one! I wished that worked for me. I forward my domain emails to a gmail address to consolidate, so it was unsuccessful.by mspace - Tips and Deals
That happened to me. I had to create an iCloud email address to use with my account and finally started getting notifications again. I have NO idea way all of a sudden my regular address was no good.by mspace - Tips and Deals
Just tested with the power supply from the new router. Also Asus, and same specs on the charger. New router powered from both supplies. Dead router did not. I guess I don't have a spare router. But I do have a spare power supply now. Oh, well . . .by mspace - Tips and Deals
Hotspot worked for computer, but I use a Raspberry Pi with Apple TV and Channels for TV/DVR. It’s wired to the router, so WiFi is out. Just happy I can take care of it in less than 24 hrs. Hopefully, it is the power supply and I’ll have that spare.by mspace - Tips and Deals
QuoteRobert M mspace, Are you using the router or modem-router provided by your ISP? If so, contact them for a free replacement. All bets are off if you're using your own router. Robert It's my own, Asus RT-AC68U. I found a line tester, so I will check the power supply as mattkime suggested. If it's the power supply, I'll replace and keep it as my spare. Either way, a big surprise,by mspace - Tips and Deals
Quotemattkime Might have been a failed power supply. No, I don’t have a spare. If my router died I’d check to see if neighbors had a spare. Possible, but I have no way to check that, and need to be up and running for work. Sigh. The one person that might have had something didn't. Double sigh.by mspace - Tips and Deals
There I was last night, turning off my Apple TV via remote (which uses the router Asus RT-AC68U), when The Other asks if I did anything to said router, as the connection was lost to the laptop. Nope, never went near it. Went to look and ALL lights are off! Did all the unplugging, replugging, checking various buttons, all other devices in same strip are lit and functional. Plugged router into dby mspace - Tips and Deals

It was totally worth watching. And I didn't need any convincing. The name was enough.by mspace - Tips and Deals
Well, just got the 13 mini yesterday to replace my iPhone 7. For me, it's just right, and the screen clarity makes up for the "size". I knew my hands didn't want the weight of the regular 13. I don't really carry larger bags and the 13 wouldn't fit well in pockets once a case is on.by mspace - Tips and Deals

I have replaced the battery previously. Coconut is showing 98.3% design capacity. Cycle count is 614. I did hard reboot of holding down both volume and power buttons. If this continues, I'm considering doing a complete reset. Will I be able to restore from my iCloud backup and have my phone back to where it was?by mspace - Tips and Deals
