I keep getting Email with .dat attachments is there any way to open them? I am using Leopard. I see references to TNEF's Enough and OMiC but it is not clear that either will work with Leopard. Any ideas?by pipiens - Tips and Deals

Aperture is indeed a digital asset management tool. It will also do just fine in processing and printing RAW files. The majority of the adjustments it can do are global. For example color balance, highlight recovery, fill light for shadows, sharpening, black/white conversion, cropping, straightening ,etc.It can also do a minimum amount of local adjustments such as dust spotting and minor cloning.by pipiens - Tips and Deals

My neighbor is planning to switch to a 20" iMac. He has pretty light usage. Email, surfing, iPhoto, and spreadsheet are his major activities. Are there any reasons why the low end 2.4 Ghz model will be noticeably less than he 2.66 GHz model for his needs? He plans to max out RAM and add external disk storage.by pipiens - Tips and Deals

The condo I live in has a theater as a common amenity . We plan to upgrade to a HD projector with a Blu-ray disc player . The room currently has a 60''x80' screen. and a distance of 285 inches from the lens(behind a back wall) to the screen. The top of the screen is 2' down from the ceiling and the projector lens is 3' down. It is a dark room with no windows and fairly dark interior. I am aby pipiens - Tips and Deals

Until you know otherwise assume that a there is a neck problem. You can stabilize with your hands to prevent turning or other movement until you can clear the possibility or get a improvised collar in place. If there has been enough force involved you can still clear the possibility of neck damage in the field but you really have to know what you are doing.by pipiens - Tips and Deals

It is artificial synovial fluid . I had it done about 6 months ago as has my wife. There are at least 2 protocols available one with 3 injections and one with 5. If it lasts a year you can have it redone. I got a small improvement (gradually getting better). My wife has had a dramatic improvement.by pipiens - Tips and Deals
