Hi TLB School districts can really be a PITA. You can rattle their cages a bit . A few letters to the "Editor" about wasting taxpayer resources by not using the unused cycles might help. When school board elections come up maybe you can get the local newspapers to question the candidates on their plans for using the currently wasted cycles. Seems like they are setting a poor exam

Lots of fast CPUs sure seems right. What I am trying to figure is how to get the spare cycles on a bunch or them without actually buying any. An unused cycle is a resource that is gone forever- It can't be recycled.

The real objective is to get as much folding done as possible while having a little fun at the same time. I suggest leaving the old team as it is for all those that don't want to switch ( it is a bit of a pain ). Those that want to move can go here or somewhere else - whatever is most fun for them. I think that this will maximize the total folding. I plan to use the opportunity to goad myself

A Macresource team sounds good to me. I agree with lemmingboy , I would enjoy seeing the people I sort of know battle their way up. I will switch in a heartbeat. The important thing ,of course, is the folding not the team name. A new team seems like it would bring in new folders - that can only be good. There is no need for firewire 400 since 800 is backwards compatible and you can connect with a 400/800 cable. It's hard to believe that all that new video equipment will not be able to connect to a Mac.
