Born in Tulsa, OK, but moved to Atlanta when I was 3. Stayed in town for college, then spent 4 years in Disgusta, GA (i.e. Augusta, the town that only blooms the second week in April). Moved up to Cincinnati for 5 years, then back down south where we are currently in Roswell, GA. We are about 4.5 miles from the same Apple Store that rgG frequents (at North Point Mall).

We bought the second generation iMac G5 (non-iSight) on the day the iSight models were released. It was a refurb from the Apple Store for $850 and about $400 off list price. It's great and will continue to be a great machine for my wife's uses for a long time to come.

If your router supports WDS (wireless bridging), you can bridge two together and hook the other up to the ReplayTV. The schedule updates are much faster that way and you can pull shows off the Replay onto your laptop using DVArchive, as mentioned above. I have 3 Buffalo routers that are bridged together. One is connected to my cable modem and the other two are connected to my ReplayTV units.

I've actually had the B&M pricematch the BB.com a couple of times, most recently for a Kodak printer dock. If it was on sale at CC recently, it will probably be on sale again at some point. If you really don't need the TV right now, I'd return it on the last possible day and then wait for it to go on sale at CC again then buy it there. I had a similar experience as lafinfil. The first time I had the cable guy come out to help with weak signals, he was amazed at how many times the previous owners split things off. Fortunately, we had the inside wiring maint. plan that covered him recrimping all the connections, upgrading the various splitters with better quality ones. He even added one of their amplifiers where the line came

I hope it wasn't the one on Alpharetta Hwy and near Mansell. We had a disturbing experience there last year and vowed never to go back. I'm sure the pancakes were fine, just be wary about the syrup. But, that's a story for a different day.

Oldest Apple Computer is my //c, up in the attic in the original box (even have the rainbow Apple stickers). Oldest "Mac" is my Power Computing PowerBase 200MT, ugraded to a G3266 (overclocked to 300Mhz) that is still working and gets occasional use.
