Interesting. I did not know you could extend AppleCare. Have they always done that or is it something new?by DavidS - Tips and Deals
QuotergG QuoteDavidS QuotergG Yep. It has been getting worse and worse for us. I called the people who sent me my ID card, and they are supposedly sending another one. Maybe the USPS will deliver this one, but not holding my breath. You know that you can look up your AARP number online, right? You are so cruel. It is my soon to be active Medigap supplement card, lol. You know how tby DavidS - Tips and Deals

QuoteNewtonMP2100 ....Home of the.....Brave(s)...... That's how we sing the end of the National Anthem at the ballpark down here.by DavidS - Tips and Deals
QuoteWill Collier Been a crazy run, hope they can keep it up in the Series. I'm only about a mile from the ballpark, but with nosebleed seats starting at $150 (if you can get them, and you probably can't), I think we'll be taking in the crowd noise from the deck... I looked for tickets in the pre-sale this morning. The most nosebleed seats for $390.by DavidS - Tips and Deals
This was an exciting NLCS, that's for sure. I was happy the Braves won it at home last night instead of Game 5 in LA. I had several friends who were at the game, and I'll be looking for tickets for next weekend's games. I haven't been to a World Series game since the early 90s version of the Braves, and I was in St. Louis when they won it all in 1995 (watching the game with a guy from Clevelanby DavidS - Tips and Deals
As a Permanente physician, I’m proud of Kaiser’s Medicare Senior Advantage plan. It is rated Medicare 5 Stars in every area where we exist. That is the highest rating possible and based on quality of healthcare from many metrics that are tracked, plus patient satisfaction scores. No other insurance company can make that claim. This also allows us to enroll patients year round, not just durby DavidS - Tips and Deals
Quotefreeradical QuoteDavidS While I am too young to take Advantage of such a plan (pun intended), my patients love their Medicare Advantage plan. I found out today that starting in January, they will be able to get a Healthy Food Card allowing them to buy $150/quarter ($600/year) of eligible healthy food items (fresh fruit/vegetables, lean meats, cereals, etc.) as an added benefit. I agree about having Qi wireless charging built-in to each AirPod. That would be a great feature, but how much bulk and weight would it add? QuoteRobert M David, Yups. That would solve the problem. I'd like to be able to just drop the Airpods directly onto a QI wireless charger without using the case. I'd save using the case for when I don't have a QI charger handy. Probably more than you need, but this seems to address your concern. QuoteRobert M Sam and Lux, I looked at something like that to use with both Airpods and Airpods Pro and decided they weren't doable. It isn't that they wouldn't work. Just the idea of having to take the ear piece off to charge the Airpods and Airpods Pro and reinstall them afterwards was an issue. Seemed like it would be aby DavidS - Tips and Deals
Best Buy has Geek Squad refurbished AirPods Pro for $179, the same price as the new AirPods 3. Supposedly the ear pieces are not covered in the previous owner's ear wax. I've tried the first gen. AirPods and they seem to fit my ear pretty well. I've had some issues with the silicone earpieces of non-Apple Bluetooth earbuds. For those who have tried both the regular and the Pro, which fitby DavidS - Tips and Deals

However, with T-mobile's Now and Forever plan, you can upgrade every two years and turn in your phone for $800 off the newest model. If you have the base model iPhone 13, this is a good deal. If you are upgrading from a model with higher memory or a Pro model, it is less so, since their base price will be more than $800. I believe this is similar to AT&T's upgrade plan (it may have changedby DavidS - Tips and Deals
I think I'm going to upgrade my iPhone 11 to a 13 and my wife from her 11 Pro Max to a 13 Pro Max. May upgrade the kids from their 11 to the 12, since T-Mobile is giving them away if you move over to the Magenta Max plan. I'm still wearing an Apple Watch Series 2. Once the Series 7 comes out, I'll pick up a refurb Series 6. From first glance, I don't see much difference between the 6 and thby DavidS - Tips and Deals
We saw it in Atlanta a couple years ago. They had a panel discussion afterwards with several people who were portrayed in the musical, including the female airplane pilot and the author of the book upon which it is based. I enjoyed it. Fascinating story.by DavidS - Tips and Deals
I've been an Olympic junkie since Winter 1980. I watched a fair amount every evening, mostly swimming and track and field. I can't wait for the Winter Games in only 6 months.by DavidS - Tips and Deals
Primary Care MD here. I sent you a message.by DavidS - Tips and Deals
As a primary care physician, you are doing well from what you've told us. The key is to prevent it from worsening. Weight loss, diet changes, taking your medications, avoiding NSAIDS, keeping your blood pressure under control, etc. are key. Keep up the good work. You are also in Atlanta, right? It sounds like you have a good medical team, but feel free to send me a private message if you hby DavidS - Tips and Deals
Wow. I remember this so clearly. Hard to believe that it’s been ten years. Thank you for sharing this painful anniversary with us. I hope you and your family are doing well. My continued condolences.by DavidS - Tips and Deals
Since the 1984 LA Games, I've been an Olympic junkie (still have the expanded Sports Illustrated edition from it). I love watching them, both Summer and Winter Games. I'm looking forward to watching these upcoming games. But nothing beat going to 5 different events in 3 days, 25 years ago in my own hometown. I was living in Cincinnati and able to get home for one weekend. My mother was a vby DavidS - Tips and Deals
I used a SomnoMed device for about 5 years. It worked great. I then gained a few more pounds and "graduated" up to a CPAP. If you can use a SomnoMed with improvement in your apnea, I highly recommend it, as does my wife.by DavidS - Tips and Deals
QuotergG I’ve noticed those yellow signs seem to be getting back to pre-pandemic levels, so hopefully lots of things are shooting again. Agreed. There are more crew signs around my part of Sandy Springs the last few weeks. We've had a few commercials and part of Instant Family filmed in my neighborhood. I lost my Apple Watch 2 in the ocean a couple weeks ago (rogue Pacific wave stripped it right off my wrist). Best Buy had it on sale for this price when that happened, so I bought a Space Gray open box, excellent condition for $333 to replace mine. It looked new. I have until July 4 to return it and think I may because I also have my son's Apple Watch 2, which he no longer wears. If the Aby DavidS - Tips and Deals
My daughter and I saw a preview of it on Sunday night. It was very well done, and I expect some award nominations from it. My daughter and my wife saw the musical in Washington a few years ago, and they are both huge fans. The Pacific Ocean waves tore my Series 2 Apple Watch from my wrist yesterday morning. I just placed an order for a Series 6 (open box excellent was another $20 cheaper).by DavidS - Tips and Deals
