Thanks Robert, I've always used the Time Capsule as network backup only. I have a separate wi-fi router for home networking and the macs on our network are all backed up on the Time Capsule. I know I could get new replacement hardware to do everything, but I'd rather leave everything as is and just replace the drive.by RE:up - Tips and Deals

FIXED!!! I found the answer here: AOL sent out notification months ago about changes to their security which I never opened because spam/fishing. The steps to the fix are outlined in detail on the website above in case any one else is having issues.by RE:up - Tips and Deals

Thanks AA, Yes it would seem to be (and should be) simple, But- after following the steps as you outlined I get "account not recognized". Perhaps I'm overthinking it, but I remember from long ago having to choose imap or pop, telling mail what ports to use, setting SSL, and naming the server address. My computer (Macbook pro 6,2 mid 2010, High Sierra) no longer connects with my AOL mail account. The last time it worked was June 25th. I can still connect using my iphone 7. Searched the AOL website for setting up Apple Mail but could only find info on setting up an iphone. Does anyone know how to set up Mail to work with AOL? What Kraniac said. Use a good brush. I usually don't bother with the tape, which won't work on a textured surface anyway. With enough practice you should be able to keep to a straight line on any joint without the tape. Use a rag to wipe up drips and oops as you go. much easier than scraping dried paint.
