Just got back from the local Apple store. Was told after testing that I need a motherboard replacement = $566 parts and labor. I think I'll be pulling the drive on the MPB and looking for a deal on Craigslist. No way that I can afford new. But for $500 of less I should be able to get a working book? Right! Back for round 2. Just viewed tonights ep here on the west coast, and I have one word for Mr. MoFat; "Norbury". Talk about jumping and sharks - what a mess! I am well and truly done and won't be wasting time on this offal again. The other A.C.D. spinoff, "Elementary", is still quite good however, and so far has resisted the siren call of Mondo Bizzaro.
