You can set up any ipod to only download playlists of interest. Just use the iPod configuration button in iTunes (it appears at the bottom right whenever your iPod is plugged in).

Hal, you hit the nail on the head. I think it is disgusting that people want to keep "those illegals" in their place of poverty. You're comparing a low end Dell (no doubt a bulky, heavy one with pathetic performance) to the high end, very compact, Macbook Pro. Comparisons to the upcoming Macbook "Amateur" might be closer and will be at a much lower price point, though I doubt that the "Amateur" will have a video system that shares video ram (which I presume the Dell does).
