Here is one potential question to ask yourself (er, herself...)...
"Do I really want to work someplace that I had to sue to get them to hire me? Is that a work environment that I'm going to enjoy, long term?".
I WOULD get her doctor to make a note, on his letterhead, stating what perscription drugs she has been perscribed, and forward that to the HR guy.

Maybe by that reasoning, we should all go back to caves?
And asbestos is STILL darn effective... and a VERY LOW cancer risk to those that aren't working in great clouds of asbestos dust.

If it was me, I'd email him again about it..
Tell him you shipped it, and it was returned because the address he gave you the first time was invalid.
If he wants his merchandise, pony up the shipping a second time.
He screwed up, not you.
He needs to pay for his mistake, and for his rotten communication.
But that's just my opinion...

Google Maps shows a slab under contruction where there has been a building for 2 years in my neighborhood.

Kiva;
Mostly, yes... in major remodels where the drywall is off anyway, they spray the stuff in, and then trim it flush after it dries, then drywall over it.
I vaguely remember where they discussed the "in the top" method... I think they said it's best for contruction where you have the tops of the stud-wall OPEN, rather than having a header on top. I can understand that.

All I know is what I've seen on This Old House...
They use it all the time, and love it.
Apparently, the older stuff that used Formaldehyde as a solvent was not very good, but the newer stuff is great.
No idea how one would retrofit it into an existing building.
All I know is that it's cool watching them spray a thick liquid in between the studs, and watch it foam up and harden into 4&q

Hey, I'm still looking for a way to make money off of tatoo removal...
You know.. for those millions of times coming when "Hey, check out my new tat", turns into "What the hell was I thinking?!? how do I get stupid parrot off my skin?".
But yeah, hearing aid or some sort of hearing loss treatment is gonna be big tool.

Yeah, I was really suprised that the Refurbs are $1449... which beats the heck out of the $1699 full retail.
As much as I think she would have been JUST fine with a nicely loaded out Mac Mini, I think she's REALLY going to like the 20" iMac!

I have been suggesting that my mom get a new computer to replace her Ruby iMac (G3) for a couple years now....
For months, I've been suggesting a Mac Mini and a 19" LCD (she's as cheap as I am, and has worse vision...).
Yesterday, she got fed up yet again with how slow it was to open Word... (I lay most of the blame for that on Word itself....).
While I was at work, she browsed Appl

Kap;
Not understanding why you're associating posting a pic strictly with a sig graphic...
Your sig graphic has to be on a web server someplace...
So does any picture you post.
As others have said, there are plenty of free places to host your pics.
Then, when the mood strikes you, you can post them by enclosing the url to the pic you want to display inside

My first thought was plastic or a hard rubber sort of thing....
Make one out of clay or hard wax (hire someone that can sculpt, that is).
Make a rubber mold of the original.
Split the mold in half.
Use that mold to cast a two part plastic or rubber compound...
A rubber mold probably won't last for dozens or hundreds of parts, but I think you could get away with 10-15 pretty easily.

I was going to give my two neices each a share of Hershey (since I hold some stock in HSY).
Through my on-line broker, the transfer fees and certificate fees came to $60 EACH, pluse the cost of the actual shares... ($55+ each).
I got them toys instead...
So don't start thinking that OneShare.com is any different than getting certificates in someones name from any other broker.

Pam;
Here's the funny thing...
As I read Apple's report, it's not that they expect less PROFIT next quarter... but a slower GROWTH of profit...
Instead of GAINING 5%, they'll gain 3% (or some such).
Kinda like government agencies that consider going from a gain of 5% in budget to a gain of 3% a budget "cut"..... it's not a cut.. it's less of an INCREASE.
If Steve comes ou

I doubt it will continue to fall more than another $4-5 before starting a rebound.
I think the expected-earnings announcement, combined with the last few months meteoric rise, and some uncertainty about the Pixar/Disney deal has all combined and there are some folks that have been in "long", that are taking some profits.
I'm one of them... my overall portfolio is pretty small by m

I think one of the more important questions to ask before making the decision is;
"Does she send and recieve documents to and from other people"?
If she does, I think she'll be better served by Office (much as I hate to admit it...).
If not, then iWork may be a good solution.
Hope this helps.

I sold a few shares this AM....
I couldn't stand my "gain" column at 138% any more.... so I took a bit of profit.
If it goes down another $7-8 in the next week, THEN I'll start to actually worry.
