Mjølnir is the name of Thors hammer... his big ass, iron, ass-whuppin' hammer.
Felling foes, and all that...
Don't be his foe by makin' fun of his hammer.

Assuming it's the word I think it is... (from Scandinavian mythology?)...
I think it's "Me-ol-nyer" the "j" being silent, and the ni being kinda a ny sound...
But that's from a friend who speaks Norwegian (at least a bit).

Hope you and Iggy get well soon!
I'd feel exactly the same way... ( 'cept my best buddy is my cat rather than a dog...).
<I don't think this dog should be put down.
I do.
I know this will piss off a lot of dog owners, but if the owners of the dog are really too stupid to care for him, and keep him from following certain parts of his insticts.... then the dog should either be taken

They could use a few lessons in the scientific method now and then, but overall they do a decent job.
Except the Civil War Rocket episode...
Those guys had NO idea what kind of energies they were screwing with with those bi-propellent hybrid engines...
And they set it off INSIDE the shop!

>At $9.50 a ticket I hardly think ticket sales are a loss leader. If it is they should lower the price and I sure would go to more movies and buy popcorn with the diff.
And there, I think, is where you miss the point...
The THEATER isn't getting a dime of that $9.50 ticket.. it get passed directly to the film distributor (and they send "checkers" undercover occasionally to coun

Got news for you...
Ticket sales, by and large, do NOT go to the Theater.
My best friend is a theater manager, and has managed for 3 different chains up and down the west coast for the last 15 years.
NONE of the theaters he's worked for/in has made money from ticket sales...
They make 95% of their money on concession sales.
A movie that is being released on DVD the same day it hits theat

APPLE'S projections? or some jackass on wall street who wouldn't know a Mac from a can of creamed corn?

Hmm.. you COULD set up an older mac to be the Print Server.. .but I don't know how it would work under OS X (that is, printing from OS X clients to the Print Server).
I did it back in OS 9 for an old Personal Laserwriter.
It was so slow (like over an HOUR to print 3 pages), that we just junked the printer.
Too bad too.. because I was very pleased with my ingenuity of getting two pieces of

Note...he's talking about a Laserwriter 360... not a Pro 630.
If it was a Pro 630, it would be a DEFINITE keeper rather than a "if you have space for it... I guess it's OK" item.

I was actually thinking about that....
But it might not be wise for them to split until the stock hits over $100 this time, or do a 2 to 3 split rather than a 1 to 2 split.
But no.. I wouldn't bet AGAINST a split....
(not sure I'd for that it WOULD yet though...)

If you can find a spot under the table for big print jobs (dozens to hundreds of copies) that you don't need done FAST... then it's still a useful printer.
But if you have a faded streak down the left side of the paper (I think it's the left..) then you probalby have a dirty laser scanner window, and the fix is a PAIN!
Also, hopefully you have a full toner for it, because they are getting a

"On the strength of higher iPod and Macintosh sales, Apple on Wednesday posted a profit of $565 million for its fiscal 2006 first quarter. Picking up from where it left off last year, Apple once again reported the highest revenue and earnings in the company’s history.
These results compare to revenue of $3.49 billion and a net profit of $295 million. Apple said that international sa

Those two plans (media server and doorstop) are not mutually exclusive as long as your cords are long enough....

Hmm.. have you tried it under a clean install of 10.3.9 perhaps?
Had you not mentioned that it has the same problem with a 3rd party card, I'd suspect the Rev1 on-board Firewire.. which was buggy as all get out on my Rev1 at work. Never did get it working right, no matter WHAT OS I was running..
But I wouldn't think that the on-board would be involved in the 3rd party card ports.
