Agreed, Italy are an aging team on the way out. Germany, when they turn it on are excellent. Unfortunately they haven't been able to do that against better opposition. I do think they will dismantle the English to meet Argentina in the quarter-final, which I see Argentina taking. But as Greavsie says, it's a funny old game.

Check the Uruguay games, they have been very good. US v Slovenia is a must if you haven't seen it yet. And the Argentines...who I think will win it. Sublime performances.

I have a bunch of them, bloke on LEM was doing a 2 for $10 deal a few months back. Kid uses them for the iMac a lot, they are compatible with EyeTV. The most important app you can have for the MBP...

$103 isn't that bad, especially given your area. Charter went from $80 to $160 in 18 months, I ended up getting shot of everything except the Internet, Expanded Basic and the rather lame HD package for $130. I would jump to DirectTV in a heartbeat but unfortunately the Qwest package has a lousy 1.5 speed compared to the 5 meg I am getting now.

Dunno about that, lol. The only game the mrs loves is High Velocity Bowling. It is wii like in that you hold the sixaxis like a bowling ball and can adjust spin etc by a flick of the wrist, fun for all the family. As for R&C, the graphics are on a par with Pixar (almost), it's like watching an animated movie, our kid has only got to level 3 so far but he really is liking it... not surpris

Not a gamer myself but have come across some great games, Warhawk is my favorite, basically an online multiplayer game but can also be played over a LAN. Just picked up the new Ratchet and Clank which has stunning visuals, arguably the best yet on the PS3. There are some great cheap arcade games to be had too, picked up quite a few in the last year but most notably High Velocity Bowling, Flow,

Had the same problem a few months back, thought it was a goner but ElGato advised me that it was most likely the power adapter. Picked up the universal adapter from Radio Shack and that done the trick.

Yes, my MBP 1.83/APExtreme has slowed down a lot since the jump to Leopard. Arguably the worst version of OSX to date, have had a slew of connectivity issues with it. I rarely run off the battery. The MBP also crashes more often than not when changing locations. The upgrade also screwed up my mail, got most of it back but still lost about 10 months out of 7 years worth of mail. AVS is always a good starting point, but isn't always spot on, a lot depends on your preference and hardware. Ratatouille is the best I have come across, it is lush in every respect. Besides animated features which are all generally very good, for full immersion Apocalypto is wonderful, disturbing and graphic, it was a little bit too good and disturbing that the mrs couldn't bear to watch it t

I just added my second PS3 now that the first one is pretty much a dedicated media center and the kids were on my case about playing games. Picked up the older 20gb version, minus hard drive off eBay for just over $200.

We just sold a 4G 20 this weekend was asking for $100 got $80 would have been happy with $75 as that seemed to be the going rate for that model on eBay.
