We have 2 systems... added a heat pump on a few years ago when we did an addition. The system we are replacing is a traditional gas fired heat and AC unit (outside). I don't love the heat-pump so much. It gets really hot and humid in the summer and really cold in the winter, and I think heat pumps don't do as good as a job on those days. I've got the BMW i4 with a HUD and I absolutely love it. It shows my current speed, the speed limit, and shows very basic directions if you have navigation on. It takes a little time to get used to, but after a short time (few days) it fades into the background (or would it be foreground) and you only see it when you need it. When I drive my old car, I miss it.

Bah humbug.... I've had my Tesla Model 3 for 4 years and it's been the best and easiest car I've ever had. It's only been in once, for an air-conditioner actuator that needed to be replaced under warranty. My new BMW i4 is at a port in Germany waiting to be put on a ship. I can't imagine going back to a gas car.

I recently upgraded my 15" MBP to a 14" M1Pro MBP. I've got 16 GB of RAM which is more than enough even though I am running a virtual machine 24/7 in addition to using all of my regular apps. I opted to increase the HD to a 1 TB, but I moved all of my photos and music to an SD card and I probably could have gone with a 512 GB. Any machine of the ones mentioned you will love. The M

To me, this certainly seems like the easiest thing to do, and while it's pricey, if you are staying for a week it's $70. If you are staying for 2 weeks, it's only $100 on ATT, because you only pay for a max of 10 days per billing cycle.

I signed out of Messages.app and the notification is still there. I feel like some plist file just needs to be trashed, but who knows which one. It's really annoying..... but not that big of a deal.

I've got a stuck notification badge (showing 1 message) on Messages on my new MBP. Interestingly, my old MBP (which I'm still using on the side for some things that I haven't set up yet) also has a stuck notification. My iPhone and iPad don't show the notification, and they are all linked. I've tried all sorts of things.... 1) Turn off notifications and restart 2) Kill dock via terminal
