10.3.9 update broke user account? - 17 years ago
Updated yesterday so we could use itunes 6 and Quicktime 7 for videos. When we try to log in to my daughters user account the screen rotates to Blue then does nothing. Have to force a restart to get to back to log in screen. My two accounts are ok. Any ideas? ggby goosegunner - Tips and Deals
QS dual gig processor or faster third party for QS 867? - 17 years ago
Cruising along with my QS 867 as a general home computer. Seems fine for most of our use. Web,iphoto,imovie, DVD burning, games not the best. Loaded up pretty good with 2 Hard drives 1.25gig ram Radeon 8500 airport card Just wondering if it would be worth it to put in a Apple dual gig, say for $275 after I sell the 867Mhz card? Small ipod speakers, Groove cube, Boomtune mini, others? - 17 years ago
Looking for something portable so my daughter can easily carry in backpack to friends house to listen to her ipod mini music. I was thinking boomtune mini, bt found a review that said they weren't so great? Anyone have the Groove cube that small dog sells? How do they sound? Any other recommendations? Put these on my Jetta TDI all I can say is awesome!! Consumer reports just did a test on winter tires. They did not rate them as high as I thought they would be. I bought them last year and they were on the top of the list for a test done in Europe. I can stop on my snow covered steep driveway and start again. 4X4 Expedition spins hard to start moving again.
