Church wants to add the Roland RSS multi track to our digital console and needs a PC to grab the 24+ tracks. They plan on sending the tracks to a local mixdown house so I also need to have a solution for pulling the files off the internal drive on to something portable. Where should I go for building this PC? Suggested requirements: XP 32 bit or Vista 32/64 bit Intel Core 2 Duo 2GHz orby Rain - Tips and Deals
Testing driving everything else did the trick - Susan decided on a 2010 Chevy Equinox. (she loves it and its 33mpg)by Rain - Tips and Deals
In that price range the Kia Sportage seems to be the only one that comes close in MPG. But I'm still several thousand dollars more in cost. I test drove two Compass models. Both were city and interstate driving. I'm 6'1, 200 lbs and had no complaints in the back seat or either front seat. Plenty of headroom (in both the base model and the sunroof equipped unit). Tons of leg room. Suby Rain - Tips and Deals
Wife's 2003 Expedition just hit 180,000 miles and its about to need maintenance and repairs nearly what the vehicle is worth. We use it to haul the kids around and as our main vehicle for the Real Estate brokerage. With $3.29 fuel its really starting to eat us out of house and home. Exactly how I remember it! (i went in for a 2nd surgery on 1 eye... What hurts is when they have to REOPEN the flap for a 2nd surgery) Lucky you got it right the first time. Enjoy it! My "dry eyes in the morning" lasted a year or two, then went away.by Rain - Tips and Deals

I do have an iPod sitting in the gig bag an the iPad runs my songbook during the sets and our break music (when on breaks, of course).by Rain - Tips and Deals
Musical buddies, what are you recording with at the gig? Years ago I hauled the tape deck out to the gig. After that, a palm sized minidisc recorder. Then I went to a rack mounted CD recorder. I need something small and portable that will transfer the songs quickly to the Mac once I'm home and in the studio. As easy as one of these hand held units with the pair of condenser mics on top wby Rain - Tips and Deals
I'm eligible too but probably going to pass till the next version of the phone (for the same price). I have a functioning Droid now that gets me thru the work day just fine and I can't see spending the $ on an 8 month old iPhone.by Rain - Tips and Deals
