yea, just a monochrome laser for the home office. nothing fancy or super expensive. It makes more sense with all the stuff we print and throw away. (not to do it in B&W on an ink jet) Don't think Im ready for a color laser yet.

I won't be in town till Saturday. But stop by the Tropical Isle (600 Bourbon) the Bayou Club (610 Bourbon), Tropical Isle (721 Bourbon) and the Funky Pirate (727 Bourbon) and check out my audio and lighting designs/installations. Head up to the 2nd floor at 721 Bourbon (Top of the Trop) for another one of my stage systems - plus they have an open balcony there.

Almost bought a raffle ticket on a $99,000 Corvette the other night until I realized I couldn't afford the 27% federal tax that had to be paid before taking possession of it! (it was serial # 3)... #1 was just sold at auction for $270,000.

Here is an oldie but a goodie.. think I first posted this when I pulled the 512k module from my Performa550... (I made an earring from it) I just upped the White iMac (late 2006) to the 4 GB max so I have a 1GB chip sitting here on the desk I can't use. And we upgraded the Mini (late 2009) to 8GB and I now have a pair of 1GB chips for it sitting here. Worth a tank of gas?

Wonder why the firemen didn't try the hood release cable FIRST.. (before prying up the driver side and apparently warping the whole thing) Didn't Mythbusters dispel the belief that a fuel tank explodes as we've all seen in Hollywood movies? I did see the episode where they fired a gun at a car and couldn't make it blow up....

Been pulling it off for years on a standard 8.5x11 sheet of paper, usually in a protective sleeve and a glare from stage lights. Looking forward to giving it a try next weekend.

I currently tote a huge three ring binder of a few hundred tunes with me gig to gig. The venues I play tend to be request driven (Bourbon Street, New Orleans, LA) and I make better tips if I actually get the words and chords right. (imagine that!) Right now they all exist as Word documents. What App is out there that will let me drop these into the iPad and recall them while on stage? Can

Refurb iPad arrived Tuesday but I didn't get to play with it until our new(used) Mini showed up today (I don't have 10.5 or 10.6 on my iMac). But it is on the Mini and that got me up and running.

FWIW, Ive been thru two of the Milwaukee units. Not the drop in but the same series with the chuck. First one had a 2nd battery that would not charge. Its replacement wouldn't charge anything. Great power in that small drill though. Replaced with a Rigid and not impressed with it. About to spec it against the third choice. Makita
