If you don't have AppleCare+ on the iPhone, you might want to get it before the 1 year warranty is up. (You'll have to have a Genius do an inspection to buy the AppleCare after the first 60 days).

My vote is AppleCare+. Back glass replacement cost just dropped to $29 for the iPhone 12 & 13 so it's $29 for front glass, $29 for back glass or $58 for both as long as the camera and frame are not damaged which would then be $99. Also if you go 3rd party coverage and your glass gets replaced with non-apple parts, your trade in value will drop.

I have a pair of these that I run with and I like them. I read they are $37 on Amazon right now so grab them up before the price increase hits if you were on the fence.

I like the Aqara G2H. Bought one a while ago for $55. Provided you have upgraded your iCloud storage, you can use this directly with Homekit secure video without having to use any other apps. I trust Apple's secure video over a third party app which is doing who knows what with the video feeds.

Apple is going to replace the iPad for you for $49 since you have AppleCare+. If you want, you can just call AppleCare and they will send you out a replacement so you don't have to go to a store if you don't want to. You can also do an express replacement to get the replacement faster if you wish but they will put a hold on your credit card to ensure you return the broken one.

From what I understand, the Aqara is the only camera that you can set up in HomeKit directly without having to use a company's app. Sounds like the most secure way of doing it.

I get annoyed when the streets are always wet. I know they do that because it supposedly looks better on film but I have no problem with a dry street. Always funny how there are puddles and stuff and not one car is even remotely wet. Just noticed this yet again in Mosquito Coast on AppleTV+

I have an Apple TV HD and paired my PS4 DualShock to it and have played some games. You definitely need to use a gaming controller as the Apple TV remote doesn't cut it for games.
