CDC recommendations for those of us in the "high risk" group for the Corona virus - 2 years ago
I have asthma and take medicines to suppress my immune system, and I'm 54. Anyway, with the arrival of warm weather, my asthma is acting up and my right lung feels like somebody punched in the chest. AWESOME! On the other hand, I did stock up the pantry and have enough food for about 3 weeks. I work with the public and deal with hundreds, if not thousands of people a week. causes temporary quarantines? So I'm stocking up on soups, vegetables, tuna, canned fruit, batteries for a radio and flashlights and I filled a couple of gas cans and put them in the shed. Worst case, we don't have to buy canned goods for awhile and I'll actually have gas this spring for my lawn mower. I had something like that for around 2 months. Never felt horrible, but had a cough and congestion. At times, I'd get a coughing fit. Finally got antibiotics and that seemed clear up my sinuses and post nasal drip and it finally went away mid January.by Grumpyguy - Tips and Deals

So I bought a cheap Qi compatible charging pad. Say I place the iPhone at 50% charge on it. The battery turns green and shows the charging symbol. Come back an hour later and it is still at 50%. I had it plugged into a USB port on my Mac Mini. So I bought a better charger today, plugged it straight into an outlet and placed the phone on it at 60% charge. Kaboom and a scrub brush work wonders on my basement shower. Also, after each shower, I used Clean Shower, which prevents mold and mildew from forming. Clean shower is a godsend. So basically, I use Kaboom monthly now to get the shower spotless and Clean Shower does the rest for the remainder of the month. And, Clean Shower is dirt cheap. I'm using the latest Beta version of Catalina and now all menus have this numbering system. It does it with Safari as well. Very annoying when you have several hundred bookmarks! So tell me how you turn it off, please : )by Grumpyguy - Tips and Deals

I haven't been hanging around here, or any of my usual internet hangouts of late due to work and not feeling the best. Happily though, I'm feeling better and work has slowed down. Anyway, can't tell you how excited I was to find most of the editing tools from the desktop photos app have been ported over to the iPhone app in iOS 13.
