Quotetestcase How would such a move stop “patent trolls”? IIRC, residency determines the applicable venue of a patent infringement lawsuit. If Apple isn't in that district, the trolls can't use those courts and the Eastern District verdicts are pretty much the inverse of any other district in patent infringement cases (in the trolls favor) which is why the trolls use them.

Just throwing this out there - the Anker Soundcore2 is small and well under $100. Yes, it's bluetooth but you can run it "wired" using the Aux jack (standard headphone cable) and also plugged in to power with the charging cord. Just saying...

Technically they didn't pull their recommendation so the since 2014 statement stands. They didn't initially give that MacBookPro a recommendation because of a bug in the software on the device. That a MBP didn't get a recommendation was the big news. Once the bug was fixed, it got a recommendation.

They've been selling annual subscriptions for $99 via gift cards for months. And you can apply the gift cards at least to the family plan I've heard since it should use your balance first. I feel your pain as I, as an Aperture user, am clinging on. I still can't commit to Lightroom because of the subscription model (even accepting JDC's rationale) and more so that freaking interface that makes me want to punch something everytime I have to switch modules to do something and interrupting my workflow.
