Okay, I just did some more testing and here's what I found. When I print from InDesign CS6 on my MacBook with Snow Leopard, it printed out much lighter than when printing from InDesign CC on my MacBook Pro in Mountain Lion. I then downloaded InDesign CS6 on my MacBook Pro and printed from there and it still comes out darker than Snow Leopard printed it. I will say I exaggerated how grainy the

I tried printing last month's issue (which printed fine in July from Snow Leopard) but it looked just as crappy coming out from Mountain Lion so it's not the file. Okay, I fixed it. (At least for now.) I found a forum post that suggested this to someone having issues and it worked: "you can try deleting com.apple.airport.preferences.plist, NetworkInterfaces.plist, and preferences.plist form /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration and restart to get the airport interface working again" I failed to mention I'm on OS X 10.6.8.
