That's David & Dania. They get standing ovations every where they perform. Both were circus performers - she's from Russia, he's from the US. They put their knowledge together and created this one of a kind act. I have seen them perform live on stage twice at magicians' conventions and they always bring down the house. I have the Belkin USB wireless adapter on my wife's iMac (slot loading iMac DV SE) and, while it works, it does drive her crazy because it will drop the connection while the computer "sleeps". I bought a stack of AA NiMH from here: I've been very satisfied with the AAs. They last longer than the Energizer batteries I got from Sam's Club. Mail keeps marking m emails as read - 18 years ago

I'm using OS X 10.3.9 with Mail 1.3.11. Every so often, Mail marks all my emails as unread. While not catastrophic, it's certainly annoying. I've done some searching for answers on Apple's site and found others with the same problem but nothing that fixes it. Anyone here know of a fix? (Or what causes it?) Thanks, Michael

Although it's certainly not small, I opted for a Dell 3100cn. It's a true PostScript Level 3 color laser printer. The price has been as low as $300 for it. (It does need additional RAM because it won't print anything complex with the stock memory.) Rob, I just received my 300 gb drive from Buy.com. Where are you reading the negative reviews? Before I ordered, I checked several user reviews and the only complaints I saw were about the weight of the drive and the backup software it uses. Try changing the extension to .xls rather than .xlr. I used to have problems opening some Powerpoint presentations I was receiving because they came in as .ppt rather than .pps. I didn't have MS Office at the time and Open Office wouldn't recognize it until I changed the extension. Michael

I have a friend who ended up with a LaserWriter Plus. He is a PC user so he asked me to see if it's usable at all. I know it's really ancient (I checked Apple's specs online) so it is of no use to me. He wondered if there is any way to make it networkable. Anyone know the answer? Michael

The OS X driver is probably not compatible with the Intel processor and I doubt you'll be seeing any updates from Belkin since they've discontinued this adapter.

You can use one of the Belkin USB Adapters: I have one on my wife's iMac, running OS 9.2.2, and there are also OS X drivers. The only negatives are that it seems to drop the connection randomly and you have to unplug it to restart your iMac. (It causes freezing if you start up with it connected.) Looks like you posted at nearly the same time as me. I also installed a DVD-R/RW in my B&W (Pioneer 107) and I have used iMovie 4 and iDVD 4 quite successfully. It takes a while for iDVD to render a video on the B&W but all it takes is a little patience.

I put the Daystar G4 600 processor in my B&W G3 before I switched to Panther about 3 years ago and have never had any problems. Are you using AOL? Seems like AOL users have a lot of trouble receiving attachments in their proper format if sent from a Mac. (I tried to send some JPGs to a PC user on AOL and they all came to him as a text file. I then sent them to another person using AOL on a Mac. Same result.
