Thanks for the heads up, Paul F. anonymouse1, those drivers still only support a few models and not the S1300. I don't know what it is about Fujitsu keeping their drivers under lock and key. You actually have to download and complete a Driver Request form in order to get access to a website with drivers: . Craziness...

Hi gang, I just want to set up my scanner but the process to even get the drivers is a pain in the ass. My cd doesn't work and I actually think it's an issue with cd/dvd drive on my MBP. This same issue actually happened to me mid last year too. I was completely shocked that PayPal tried 3 times instead of just using the AMEX on file as backup...and that Citibank let them. I was able to get Citibank to refund two of the fees but still hurt my feelings. I think the theory about it being a corroboration between PayPal and the banks seems plausible. If he's self-employed like me then I can understand. Everyone needs to keep records for 7 years in case of an audit. I think for stocks / investment sales, it's 10 years (self-employed or not). The problem is, we have more papers per year to keep to prove all of our itemized deductions. I'm in the process of digitizing also and have the Fujitsu. Love it.

That's funny, and I just ordered a refurb iPad on Monday. Hah! I'm planning on selling it in June anyway after conference season is over. Even if I eat $100 or so, that's still pretty cheap to rent it for 3 months. The new iPads aren't showing up on the site yet though...hrm. I wonder what the new pricing will be.

IronMac, good to know. I never thought about that. And you're right, the SIM cards I've used in Brussels do actually match the American iPhones. We took one over there last May and bought a SIM for it and it worked just fine. I should ask my Belgian friend about possible smartphone recommendations in Belgium.
