Thanks for the advice DRR. Another point I forgot to mention is that it's an onsite gig for 20 - 25 hours/week. Come July, it may go up to 30 hours/week.

Is it just me or is Firefox 3.6 not rendering content the same as 3.5? - 13 years ago

I just got off the phone with a second client in the last two weeks who's using 3.5 and is not seeing what I am in 3.6. First an HTML newsletter I was coding now this one is a WordPress site. Safari 4.0.4 seems to be a-ok though, which is weird in and of itself. The key issue seems to be with padding and margins, I think. Are others having this same problem? JP, I hear what you're saying and they don't have an issue paying for good service. I honestly thought ASO was a good service from all the recommendations here and around the web. I trust the forum more than I trust family { cue the awwww } and that's what has me burning up. For them though, they really don't need dedicated server space. Shared rack space is just fine, but it needs to be working,

lazydays, a really great magazine that I'm thinking of subscribing to is called "Clean Eating" - . It has great recipes that are feasible to make while introducing you to new foods such as spelt, quinoa, etc. Every issue has a 7 or 14 day meal plan you can use along with shopping lists, etc.

Hi folks. About two months ago, I moved a client from an expensive package at JavaServeletHosting.com over to A Small Orange that fit their needs. Well, it's been nothing but headaches since then. Their servers are constantly down and my client's site is down right now as we speak and it's the middle of the freaking day. It's now become a tradition every 1.5 weeks or so for their site to go down.

Nathan, yes Flash navigation is a bigger issue & that's why a lot of sites don't have it even though they have Flash in their main content areas. And yes, Flash does not run well on mobile phones but then again, the iPhone and other phones choke on Ajax functionality as well. I think it's a general issue for advanced web on the phone. I know it's a late follow up to this thread but I just found out about . It's a site where you can search for a recycling center in your zip code that takes everything from clothes to e-waste. Some are free, some are not. I was surprised to find out that Salvation Army & Goodwill stores will take e-waste to recycle and it's free.

They've been sucking lately with their up/down times and I'm regretting moving a client over to them. I moved the client there in December 09 & I wish I had found more recent info because there have been so many server issues in the last two months. It's absurd.
