I'm kind of torn on this issue. I'm cheap/lean in the budget right now but am entirely willing to admit that I frequently read the NYTimes. Even for the past year, I've been considering their weekend subscription but never took the plunge. If they offer online access with the paper subscription, I think that might be a good avenue for me and I'll just pay. robfilms and others in the previousby trisho. - Tips and Deals
mattkime, what's the model of that compost bin on Amazon? I've been thinking about composting for real this coming summer and would like to get set up. Other folks, if you have links, that would be great. Thanks,by trisho. - Tips and Deals

The boy and I have been making our own sausages lately, for the past couple of months. We use the grinder & sausage stuffer attachments on our Kitchen Aid mixer. It's to the point now that we're making sausage about every three weeks at his best friend's apartment. We call it Sausage Sunday. Last week Friday we taught our downstairs neighbours how to make lamb sausage with their Kitchen Aid.by trisho. - Tips and Deals
Quotedavester QuoteCarnos Jax Dak', Swamp', they're referring to the "Moral Majority" as a proper noun...a political entity formed by these nuts. I can't believe they don't know this. For that many projects, it's going to be hard to find a free solution. If you're really going to be logging that many projects, I suggest setting up an Excel spreadsheet for now, just to get started and the branch out to other possible solutions. I use Billings for my own business but don't handle nearly as many projects. The good thing about a dedicated software is that may l (like Billings)by trisho. - Tips and Deals
DavidS, thanks for pointing that out. I remembered about SuperShuttle and I'll book a roundtrip ride with them. It's most likely cheaper than a cab and is on time.by trisho. - Tips and Deals
Lux, I'm used to doing that on international flights, specifically CDG on my way to Florence, Italy (FLR) for work. I had to do the same thing - collect my bags then wait for the über union Air France/City Jet folks to clock in 40 min before my flight took so I could go through security again. Most of the time I was able to do the check-in way earlier but that one time, everybody in the lines weby trisho. - Tips and Deals
Oh, and another question...they don't make you go through security again for layovers now, right? It's just running to other gate to catch the plane still, I hope.by trisho. - Tips and Deals
Quotetestcase You're asking NOW for what the conditions will be FIVE MONTHS from now??? You sound like my boyfriend. Oy. Yeah, I'm not going to worry about it for right now I think and just use the cab route when time comes.by trisho. - Tips and Deals
Yikes...I was afraid of that. I'm guessing we can just check out super early and use a cab. All the other affordable options are one or more stops. Doc, yeah, I was planning on flying out of JFK around 6pm so both my guy and I could work a half day, but screw it...might as well take the day off and avoid the pile up. I'm all too familiar with the night flight pile up/back up. For 2007 - 2008by trisho. - Tips and Deals
I'm trying to buy tickets to Denver for a conference this summer and realized I may have to allot leaving my house 3 hours beforehand in order to make my flight in time. This is no problem for me but the real issue is the return flight when checking out of a hotel. I'm considering a 10:45am return to JFK and just thought I may have to leave the hotel at 7:45am to leave room for security. How bby trisho. - Tips and Deals
deco, I think the main purpose for Le Creuset may not necessarily non-stick but rather heating consistency which varies a lot with non-stick/Teflon pots & pans. As for eggs, we normally just scramble them & the greens in the left over bacon grease...so it never sticks! We use either our non-stick skillet or our Lodge cast iron skillet that we've been seasoning for the past year or so.by trisho. - Tips and Deals

Agree wholeheartedly with Seacrest, M A V I C, and the part of mattkime that was serious. Definitely learn CSS & HTML and you can start doing that by taking continuing education courses at your nearest art school and/or university. We have the OXO and do the same thing as blooz & JEBB. Quotethreeprong Quotemattkime most homelessness is really mental illness. Worth repeating. I think for the older generation of folks such as war vets and anybody over 45 years old, that may be the case. For a lot of the younger generation, it's sexual or physical abuse at home, mixed with drug abuse on their part. Hence the rise of child & teen prostitutes in recent years. You know what? You're right. Definitely trust your gut with these folks because like you said, it's political. I'm sorry that it stinks so bad. An option for you possibly cover yourself with them is to introduce initial deposits on the work. Let's say you give them an estimate of $500 for the work, request a 50% deposit and get paid the difference after the work is done. I'm just worried thatby trisho. - Tips and Deals

Honestly? I'm entirely okay with wishing ill will on this guy. I put him in the same league as Strom Thurman and I wholeheartedly did a metaphoric tap dance when that old racist bastard (finally) died.
