Joycee, if you have a picture, let us see it. Your desk sounds quite interesting. I bought my desk from a friend a few years ago. He worked in a custom woodworking shop part time while he was in college and had built the desk for himself, but when he moved into his own place he sold it to me because it was too big for his new apartment.

Looks like someone's figured out how to extract information from the serial number of your Mac. If you go to this site, and then enter the serial number of your Mac (found under the Apple Menu: About this Mac: More Info: Hardware), it'll spit out a few pieces of info. Not quite sure if there'd be any value to this, but there you go.

Just curious: is there any way to view all the code behind a Word doc? I still need to work with it now and again, and once in awhile, there are strange characters that show up that can't be deleted. Is there a way to view into a Word doc, sort of like you can do with an html file?

Oh, realtor fees are SO negotiable! I've sold 5 houses in the last 14 years, and aside from the one I sold without a realtor, my best realtor fee deal was 4%. So ask around. I would literally start all conversations with them with "I'm shopping around for a realtor who's willing to deal with their fees." Believe me, you'll find one who's hungry, and will go to town for your home.

the upgrade is a new Office 2004 upgrade that came out yesterday, trisho. Check here. Also check an earlier post that has some good info links on what was improved, how Spotlight works with E'rage, etc.

With the new upgrade, Entourage is now Spotlight-able. However, there are a couple things you need to make sure you do in order to get it to work. In System Preferences for Spotlight, make sure you have Apple "Mail" icon checked. I had mine unchecked (since I don't use Mail, and Entourage before yesterday wasn't searchable). Spotlight went crazy for the first 20 minutes, while it was probably indexing the Entourage Identity (I made sure I cleared the MUD folder in the Spotlight System Pref first). But in doing a few obvious text checks, it hasn't located any saved emails yet.
