It is a SUPER low mileage lease, 30k miles TOTAL. If you want an EV for fun and don't drive much this lease might be nice, but you aren't going to save any money in that few miles.

Yea, even the thousand dollar Axis cameras glitch out and have to be restarted or factory reset occasionally. We have over 400 cameras in our facilities and I don't think I've ever had more than a week when there wasn't at least one down.

$75 here in WI. The excise tax for transportation is .309 per gallon of gas. 7500 miles per year is the break even if you figure 30mpg is the average. I'm going to hit 40k miles this year so I should be fine.

The issue isn't the weight of the EVs it is the torque and the driver. No different than saying a Corvette or Mustang go through tires to quickly. EVs just don't make a bunch of noise when you smash the pedal down. I have around 13.5k miles on the tires on the Bolt and they look near new. No where near replacement. I'd guess in the 30-50k range is when they will come up. That is pretty norm

We have it from State Farm. It has alerted us to a number of power outages when we weren't home, otherwise it is also nice to be able to see the line voltage at the outlet it is plugged in to. So far it hasn't detected any problems, but there was a note that if it does find a problem that some of the cost of fixing the problem would be covered by Ting.

I wouldn't do either. You can find a used Bolt for around $9.5k after the tax credit. I found one locally with around 60k miles left on the battery warranty for $13,500 which would be in the $9.5k range.
