Quoteka jowct Quotemattkime Hrm, this is frustrating. Its mostly about finding someone with the skill and willingness to fix it. I'd like to see it keep working even if its quite old. Same. Rossmann's quote was pretty reasonable, I thought. Eh, with shipping it is just too much. I could fix it, but again, shipping a $60 computer around just isn't feasible. If it was local it wouldn't be tby C(-)ris - Tips and Deals
Yea, I didn't see any aftermarket available for your car anywhere. You could just get sheets of jute and cut to fit and reattach to the factory carpet after you get it cleaned up.by C(-)ris - Tips and Deals
They are probably having difficulty hiring qualified installers to drive the vans. It takes months to get custom vans built out and they probably ordered them 6+ months ago assuming they were going to ramp up installs. Also possible that they overestimated demand for their product and laid off workers and now they are just sitting on the leased vans due to lack of customers .by C(-)ris - Tips and Deals
Why did they need to erase the machine for a broken screen? The no administrator found message is because of your MDM workflow. We see that on our managed machines as well, not really an issue as we just wipe the machine if we run into a problem. They need to erase the entire volume, not just the data part. I would have them delete the volume group instead of erasing the drive. This wilby C(-)ris - Tips and Deals
If it is a removable panel (door, front fender, hood) then your best bet is to get a junkyard panel in the same color code. Car-part.com will be your friend finding them. If it is the rear quarter, pillar, or the roof that is going to be more difficult. Besides just the hole you are going to have to deal with the tapering to the inside. If I was going to patch it up I would take a drill bitby C(-)ris - Tips and Deals
Quotevision63 QuoteC(-)ris QuoteSteve G. more charging stations would increase EV sales. The public is rightly leery. The only time you should need public charging stations is when you are traveling. With Tesla's network becoming open as soon as that transition is complete travel charging will be a non-issue for most people. If you don't live in a place where you can plug in every nightby C(-)ris - Tips and Deals
Depends on what you are working on and how tall you are. I would go the height adjustable route.by C(-)ris - Tips and Deals
I would look for a detailer, not a repair center. They are well versed in cleaning carpets, removing seats, etc. I'd expect that they can clean that up to be good as new without replacing things, even if they do need to replace the carpet it is only $1200 for the Toyota carpet or find used carpet at a junkyard for considerably less.by C(-)ris - Tips and Deals

That plane is like 20 years old. If it made it 20 years it isn't really a manufacturing issue, more likely was hit at some point or fatigued and that part probably needs to be inspected on all planes more rigorously.by C(-)ris - Tips and Deals
Quotecbelt3 Ugh. Please do reach out to her school.. all the other alumnae are at risk, as are current students. Senior pictures are rarely done by the school. Seniors and parents work directly with a photographer they chose and hire. What the photographer can and cannot do with the photos is going to be determined almost entirely by the contract that they signed when the pictures were taby C(-)ris - Tips and Deals
Just to double check, they do realize that the plastic clip on shell has to come off the phone, not just the rubber outer part. The case on the left should fit the phone.by C(-)ris - Tips and Deals

Has this person ever looked at a McDonalds at an Airport? Or beer in a sports stadium? If he thinks this is newsworthy he is in for a shock.by C(-)ris - Tips and Deals
If they are Electrify America chargers there is nothing affordable about them. At least in my area they are the most expensive chargers available by a landslide.by C(-)ris - Tips and Deals
QuoteCarnos Jax Do you know if your Bolt prewarms the battery? It does, but not well and not that you can control how or when it happens.by C(-)ris - Tips and Deals
QuoteAcer What was the final installed cost of the Level 2 EV Charger, before any credits or rebates (if any)? $1700 for the work. No credits or rebates other than dropping my electricity rate from $.13 down to $.06. If I had a sub-panel or if my main panel was in the garage it would have been about $80 in parts and I could have done it myself. Cold definitely affects the charging rate. Quotemattkime I'm surprised to hear your stories of slower charging. Its possible to charge faster both at home and at a DC fast charger - what gives? The fastest home chargers are 50Amp and get you 10-12Kw per hour which is a 6 hour charge from empty on the Bolt. You can't really get anything more out of residential electric service. I have mine turned down to 32A since I only have a 100A seby C(-)ris - Tips and Deals
Nope. Zero maps in any car. I do have a book of campgrounds in the truck that does contain maps, but the primary use is to find the hole in the wall campgrounds that don't show up in Google or an internet search.by C(-)ris - Tips and Deals
On cheap throw away devices where it is easy to replace the battery I just go for whatever is on Amazon and cheap. It is a crapshoot and you might end up returning a few batteries before you get a good one, but I really don't think any of the name brand ones are any better and any OEM battery has likely been sitting on a shelf for 5 years and isn't in much better shape.by C(-)ris - Tips and Deals
Original Thread: Hit 10k miles on the Bolt today. I purchased it 4 months ago to the day and it's been my daily commuter 5 days a week. I'm sitting right at 3 miles per Kw hour average over that period. That puts me at 3334 Kw used to travel 10k miles. Since I was relying on paid charging for much of this time and didn't keep a log book I'm not exactly sure what my exact cost was per mileby C(-)ris - Tips and Deals
Out of those two? The 2002 LeSabre hands down. The 3800 series engine was a tank and there were no really bad issues with that model. Lower intake gaskets were common but at 180k they had to have been done by now. The Prius just has way to many miles to be considered.by C(-)ris - Tips and Deals
Quotecbelt3 Those of you with black interiors… welcome to first and second degree burns in the summer in the south. Those of you with white interiors… are you , like, living an aseptic life in a bubble ? Brown, grey… live your life, it won’t show dirt as well. Ceramic window tint and remote start take care of those problems.by C(-)ris - Tips and Deals

The thing I don't like about using hotels.com or any other third party booking is the hotel treats you like a lower class reservation. You are the one getting bumped if they run out of rooms and they will never upgrade you or give you a nicer room. If you have a problem they tell you to take it up with hotels.com. Just like Airline tickets, I'll only book direct with the hotel.by C(-)ris - Tips and Deals
