Wow, talk about timing. I had the exact same problem "Service Battery" on my mid-2012 MBA. I had ~250 cycles & only about 65% of original battery capacity. The MBA battery would only last about 3-4 hours. No Apple care warranty. I scheduled a Genius Bar appt at the Apple Store. Took it in yesterday. We preordered a T-mobile iPhone 6S at full price and were immediately able to put a VZW SIM in with no issues. I'd be very surprised if Apple requires any activation for this.by bhaveshp - Tips and Deals

Have you tried changing away from Open DNS & using the Comcast default DNS? Would suggest changing DNS on both your router & Apple TV and rebooting both. While I still generate strong passwords with 1Password I cannot come up with a new email address for every site I register with. Agreed, for sure. Sorry, trying not to sound preachy... Do you reuse your username and/or password on multiple accounts? This can make hacking simpler for the bad guys. Try to use a unique username & password everywhere. Start using 1password or any other password managers to keep track.by bhaveshp - Tips and Deals

We got an $80 Coolaroo exterior window shade and it has been very effective to keep our living room cooler with the evening sun. I attached a couple of "balloon" weights to the bottom which have helped to keep it from flapping in the wind thus far.by bhaveshp - Tips and Deals

I'm sure others will have more complete suggestions, but: 1. Check how much free disk space. If less than 15 GB free, either free up more space, or get a bigger disk. 2. Check HD SMART status. Download a free utility that reads the SMART status to tell if a drive is failiing 3. Run adware medic (google it) to clear up any hidden malware 4. Create a fresh user login. Follow up to: Finally getting to share the One Infinite Loop Apple Store opening photos. Was a busy weekend dropping off both kids to their different Universities (empty nest, woo-hoo & cry). Supposedly the new store is a model for changes in design that will roll out to the others. One Huge screen showing the new iPhones. Tons of local Apple geeks and employees. Good point. I've seen articles that point out current "4k" streaming content is about equivalent to a 1080p Blu-Ray in picture quality. I'll probably pick up a 4k Blu-Ray player at some point for true 4k content.by bhaveshp - Tips and Deals
