Key points are re-loading Photoshop 6, internet explorer, appleworks and few other items.

Air matterressess might be comfy but they provide not a bit of insulation. I use a nice foam pad that is semi inflatable. You blow it up but it don't get all cushy, just enough to take the edge off of the pointy parts of your body. I do believe you can find air matterressess with a layer of insulation. don't know where to look.

IMO Front loaders rule. They wash better and use less soap. By the way, do a test with your washer. If you use the suggested amount of soap on your brand's label...do a load using NO soap and see how much soap is actually still in your machine. You will be surprised. I've had front loaders for quite some time and never a prob.

I have 533 da dual and it sleeps fine but MY problem is that, many times, if I try to shut it off...it goes through the shut down process and then shuts down and immediately starts back up...as soon as the monitor goes blank there is a pause and then the mac gong goes off and it fires back up. It will do this over and over until i get lucky and it shuts off.

Im wondering if there is anything to be gained or lost by partitioning a hard drive...one partition with OS and applications and the other with Data...or several others with various breakdowns of data. Speed loss? speed gain? or is just an efficient way to organize etc? what about having a Photoshop scratch disk in one of the partitions?

How are the pairs laid out in the slots? there are two sets of slots (4 each) how do the pairs sit?
are they next to each other within the sets?

Done deal,,,was considering some gorilla glue..poly, water cured, great stuff. Ended up going the rivet route. Got the rivet gun out and drilled some holes, carefully, presto. Now i have rivets on my nice alum g5 case. MacMagus gets a round of applause because it worked well, and, an ass kicking cause my case has rivets on it's clean, sleek skin. no worries...it's lower right rear and hidden. gre
